I totally agree as well. In fact any co-op focused game is prime material for Game Pass because you can easily convince people you know to try the game if they have Game Pass.
I always wondered in having Outriders and MLB The Show Day 1 on GamePass so close to each other would create an unreal expectation.
Seems to MAYBE be the case.
We’ll see.

I found those 2 to be very specific outliers but thats just me.
They’re outliers until they’re not.
Only time will tell.
Until then, I’m only Xbox + Bethesda stuff Day 1, with the indies and late ports.
Expectations: Fully tempered.

Yeah R&C is probably going to be the first PS5 game I buy in a few years.
Holding onto my Jet Engine 4 Pro for now for GT7 and GOW, but R&C will be mine in 2023.
As expected. Can’t remember when the last time was, Insomniac made an objectively bad game. Fingers crossed for sunset 2.

BF6 on Gamepass is all about hope and potential of Gamepass is future.
Until Feb
- Gamepass was about old big third party games
From March
- We saw AAA coming to Gamepass day one. But those AAA where not exsiting hits or multi-platform before
With BF 6 or a similar game we may enter in another phase of Gamepass potential. Where household AAA games are launching on Gamepass.
To me it seems unlikely for BF6 to be launched day one on Gamepass. But things like will happen. It’s just matter of time and where current approach for Gamepass is.
To reach 100M deals like this are required.
I won’t be upset if it didn’t launch on Gamepass day one. But will be in utter shock if it did launch in Gamepass day one.
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is another excellent game from Insomniac as they’ve been on fire for years. Can’t wait to pick up my copy on Friday!!!

Not expecting any major AAA third party title on Game Pass day one unless it’s focused on co-op/MP/live service. I don’t see a major AAA single player only game going on Game Pass day one.

Yeah I think so too. That’s why Xbox needs 40 studios to pump out their own content for Xbox Game Pass.
Especially with Sony throwing money and threats around at third party devs.

Yeah. I would love to see Microsoft pay for a few AAA single player games to be on Game Pass day one especially if it’s a game im buying anyway but im not expecting that to happen whatsoever.
Mhm, not expecting things is for the best. There are very few games I’m itching to play day 1 anyway, I can wait for them to come later to Game Pass.
