If there is any indication with Sony’s current strategy, it is that they are not considering a Game Pass model anytime soon.
Fanboys play awards, other people play games.
See most of their time they’re talking about numbers, sales and awards on social media, no fun allowed.
MBG and other sony fanboys are gonna have a melt down on twitter and then go on youtube and damage control loool

This is a bad thing for third-parties IMO.
Gladly Xbox is absolutely nailing this year so far, so a lot of people are playing on Xbox and choosing it as their main platform, this way at least PC gamers and mobile gamers will play everything MS make a deal with.
That’s how you know the article hit hard. It’s been pretty bad last week, but it keeps getting worse and that’s just not easy to accept for fans. Some PS fans have left forums or don’t engage anymore, that’s pretty telling. It only leaves fanboys with their hot takes.
All I will say next 3 years will be very interesting if Sony goes down this route. Microsoft being able to provide variety through 23 studios and being avalable on multiple Microsoft platforms can make it a very attractive ecosystem to jump into. Especially with gamepass vs $70 AAA action adventure games
Days gone was the game i liked a lot. I hope state of Decay 3 is as visually good as Days gone is. Or maybe better.
Fake Insider_Ed strikes again!
Days Gone went from being a game “overhated” and a “hidden gem” from the Pony patrol to “it was bad and axing the sequel was a good choice”.
Got a question. Is it possible to get an Astro C40 to work on a series X? My brother has always been a hardcore Sony fan but Gamepass is starting to win him over but he can’t stand offset sticks. He would consider Xbox if he could get that controller to work
None of this seems surprising using but it also seems to suggest that Sony may be hesitant to let their studios experiment with new IP. I wonder if sequels will be their immediate focus with some new IP coming second party, with minimal investment needed.
Whatever happens, I’m glad Microsoft (for now at least) seems to be giving their studios a ton of financial leash and creative freedom.
Shawn Layden really out here mass liking Tweets dragging Sony’s current PlayStation leadership, and people asking to bring him back.

Dude even liked Jez’s tweet that compared the current Jim Ryan PlayStation leadership to the Mattrick-era.
Who likes Microsoft Store leaks?
June 8 for Worms Rumble, six months after the PS5 version.
Is this F2P?
It costs $14.99 on PlayStation, but it was included day one on PS+.
Team17, the studio behind the game, is one of the biggest Game Pass supporters with many games joining the catalogue day one, so who knows?
But wait, I thought Sony favored creative freedom all the way, heh, interesting.
They’re going to talk on a panel entitled “Team Xbox on Gaming for Everyone.” And they will discuss Microsoft’s journey to bring the joy and community of gaming to everyone on the planet. They will explore the challenges of ensuring that gaming is inclusive for all players and that the game industry welcomes all creators. I’m delighted that important leaders like Spencer care deeply about these issues and that they’ve chosen our conference as a destination to highlight them.
