Oh wow, I entirely thought that was PS+ when I said it wouldnât move the needle. Now that I see itâs PS.NOW, it absolutely wonât do anything at all for it.
Avengers is also in PSNow for an incredibly short amount of time. April - July.
I think the thinking at this time ( for Sony) was that Black Widow makes itâs May release date, so you have April/May hype for Black Widow to push PSNow subscriptions.
With Black Widowâs delay, it opens EXACTLY on the day Avengers leaves PSNow.
Literally.
Avengers leaves July 5th, 2021, which is the same US release date for Black Widow on Disney+ and in theaters.
Theoretically, if Avengers comes to GamePass in late July, IT would be riding the Black Widow hype train, and in a four-month window, we could actually see some spill over into both Ms Marvel TV Show and the Shang-Chi movie.
If this does not save Avengers, and it may not, given that it is on PS Now - then, Square West is something to keep a close eye on.

I have PS Now, Iâll give Borderlands a shot possibly. Not interested in Avengers and I have the Long Dark on Xbox.

Fine by me to be honest itâs the best month PS Now has ever had I think. Even if only 1 appeals to me. My son will play Avengers.
