I’m the one hopping In exile works on a steampunk game.
PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S - Cuphead: Mugman, gamepad, wired video game controller, gaming controller, Xbox Series X|S
I don’t know how good their controllers are, but this looks neat and even comes with two build in paddles
Dropping this here, for more visibility.
Looks like 50+ games getting fps boost very soon (next week)
Yep. Most big games currently announced are sp. While so many people are upset about ALL THESE Looter shooter for example. I don’t see that many at all.
Many of which are in development under xbox RIGHT NOW.
IGN reporting is weird. Yeah, IOI is working on an Xbox game, but it’s years away so that’s fine…
Also, from the article : could be a Scalebound revival ? No ?
I pray for the day Scalebound stops being mentioned
The IGN of today is a joke. As much as people like to make fun of him I wish Ryan would leave so I could see what he is like without constantly having to be censored by them or with better cohosts like he used to have. I tried listening to Unlocked awhile back and it’s just so vanilla. No personality.
Cartoon /= Cartoon?
Fable isn’t this cartoonish but it’s also not realistic it’s something in between.
Really I don’t see any shortage in singleplayer games at all currently.
You know what we are missing? A actual great online shooter like Halo. And no the annual COD won’t do it.
Imagine a next gen Battlefield this year people will be hyped like nothing.
In the meanwhile most games currently in development are singleplayer. The reason Outriders was a success on steam was because Outriders was finally a looter that delivers.
I can count all good looters on one hand:
Destiny The Division Monster Hunter …Outriders
See I struggle to make a long compelling list.
Outside of Sea of Thieves every xbox game has a singleplayer component. All that really matters is that games are good or succeed at their given goal.
Personally I like all kind of games. I won’t judge anything until I see it.
Watching Fable 3 walkthrough, it looks more realistic than anything so im hoping that’s what the reboot is. I didn’t say there was a shortage in single player games. It’s simply what I prefer and just want to see Microsoft stop thinking every game needs to be a multi-year live service game because not every game should be. I guess. I’m done with COD/BF. I just want an awesome solo campaign in Halo Infinite and I will be happy.
Outriders is great but it’s not PvP. It’s all PvE which is great. I love the game. Played through it three times in a row which I haven’t done since Final Fight CD on Sega CDX a long ass time ago.
For me, it’s all about The Division 2 and hopefully Outriders if they release story expansions which is heavily rumored.
Having a single player component is good but when a game includes MP, it’s usually MP that becomes the focal point simply because it’s the mode that will keep players and in turn money to keep coming in.
I definitely DON’T like every type of game. Nah. No racing/sports games for me. No fighting games for me. No RTS games. No simulation games like Sim City, Flight Sim, stuff like that. No interest in roguelike games. No interest in retro 8/16 bit games. Basically, there’s a lot of games/genres I simply ignore because they’re of no interest to me.
March 2022 for Elden Ring won’t be a surprise. Most of their games release in March.
2022 could be stacked early on -
- Starfield or Wolfenstein III
- Horizon 2: Forbidden West
- Far Cry 6
- Elden Ring
- Dying Light 2
- BOTW 2 with Switch Pro is a good bet
- Probably another Ubisoft game like Prince of Persia Remake
Yeah, 2022 is going to be awesome as im expecting most 2021 games to be pushed into 2022.
Need Xbox to buy half of the 2022 lineup for gamepass cause lord is it going to be packed.
Banjo isn’t happening until the find a top-notch studio with availability and interest. That’s why I keep hoping they’ll partner with Nintendo on a new one (if not Playtonic).
I do hope Elden ring somehow makes it into gamepass at launch. That and battlefield would be perfect.
Yep I agree. It’s probably the same problem as with Killer Instinct right now, they’re trying to find the best developer for it and it’s taking time but they’re not dead.
I’ve talked about this previously on this forum and hope for this as well, it’s highly unlikely but it does happen, it’ll be one of the most historic moments in gaming.
Ayo 70 FPS Boost games? Wtf???
Having this FPS boosted would be a very very cheeky move MS can make in the midst of all the Insomniac hype
Although I’m DYING for more FPS boost games, I really miss those crazy times when new backwards compatible titles were announced every week
For Fable - The approach should be of creating a unique visuals style.
There is TLOU2 which focuses on being Realistic and does so greatly.
Forza Horizon 4 is stupidly realistic looking open world game for me. Just love this approach in FH4.
There is Ghost of Tushima which is not realistic but rather have its own unique artistic visual style with heavy use of leaves and wind as particle styles. I think that’s what someone was talking about. That fable is taking inspiration from GoT. It’s not about coping the visual style of GoT but about staying away from being realistic and trying creating an unique visual style.
I honestly think Gears universe and specially Gears 5 is the best game in terms of visuals. It blends Realism and Unique artistic look of that universe perfectly. With Hive Busters they took this approach even further.
So ya, i want fable to have its own unique artistic visual style rather then being a realistic style.
