It’s great for multi-player stuff and all that kids fun but for someone like me, it was horrible. At least Switch despite it’s issues, is a far better console and im not even including the portability aspect.

For me, the Wii was great for playing at someone else’s place after going to the bar. I never had any interest in owning one myself though.

The sad thing of the Wii was that MS higher ups of the time fell for the gimmicks and almost destroyed the Xbox brand for it.

This too. Microsoft copied it with Kinect which fine, it was solid for Xbox 360. I’ll give it that but should have been dead and buried going into the Xbox One generation. I remember the TV TV TV shit and was like, what the hell??? I know Sony is doing TV/Movies now but the difference is that unlike Microsoft in 2013, it’s not a focal point for Sony. It’s secondary at best.
Shame too because Microsoft’s E3 2013 was easily better than Sony’s E3 2013 but because of all the shit they screwed up prior to E3 2013, it didn’t matter.

It’s called shifted focus: MS as a whole didn’t think gaming was up to par with their other businesses, so they tried to merge it with general entertainment, the recipe of a disaster.
Shit I still have my 360 E and my Kinect.

I always wanted to get Star Wars Kinect as a huge Star Wars nerd.
I had Gunstringer, Steel Battalion, Kinect Adeventures, WipeOut.
I remember liking the demo for Rise of Nightmares as well.

In the end the wii wins anyways but
Dance Central and pretty much worked from what I can remember.
