Well, you guys did say they’re OW, so they might as well get OW feature.

Speaking of Overwatch, if they really add Joker/Ren Amamiya as a playable character(please don’t be a skin) announcing/showing it during TGS would be ideal.
Ah right. I expect that to happen then.
Looks like we are about to get new chapter in Pocket Pair v. Nintendo saga. https://x.com/games_fray/status/1965442692584006059
Replying to see if it loads. It did not, but I’m guessing Nintendo is up to some sneaky stuff.
NatetheHate has made comments about FF7 Rebirth launching on Xbox and Switch in 2026.
Loving Avowed. Has flaws but so much good. Last zone is amazing to look at.
One possible major plot hole?
The Solace Keep people watching over the Garden. Marius couldn’t tell us that?!
I still wish Bandai had made this game Xbox Play Anywhere. Turn based combat is perfect on the go and I don’t plan on playing it twice. Still they got my pre-order for the most expensive edition because I’m desperate for more Digimon on Xbox. And Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth and Hackers Memory were two of my favorite games when they came out.
The Twitter post? It says that Nintendo has gained a USA patent on SUMMONING A CHARACTER AND LETTING IT FIGHT which is completely insane. I hope gamers push back strongly against them for this and all of what’s come out of this lawsuit. Nintendo has revealed their true colors for the public to see, but we’ll all be screwed if that Nintendo nostalgia keeps blinding everyone.
NONE. I don’t want any of these going away.
He knew about it, but as far as he is concern, it was a myth and a place that didn’t exist. There’s also his background to consider and the PTSD he has been suffering from since he was a kid, with just thinking about returning being pretty bad.
Utter nonsense. That shouldn’t remotely be legal. The fact that they took Palworld’s success as an opportunity to gain a complete monopoly over their IP is disgusting. The fact that this is being allowed at any level is disgusting. The fact that gamers are letting Nintendo get away with it, and all their other crap, just due to the blinding nostalgia is disgusting. Nintendo games doesn’t really change how they are as a company. And they’re especially terrible when it comes to their massive Pokémon empire monopoly. They don’t even try with those games anymore, but still sell like hotcakes (TWICE (how do gamers allow that post switch)) and all is forgiven when they do the bare minimum. I just get so frustrated seeing it. And I feel terrified that gamers let it happen especially as we directly see what harm that does to the industry now. If these patents hold water (which I really hope courts call them out on the BS they are and set the precedent that this type of anti competitive and industry damaging behavior deserves to be punished) then I’m really scared for game development. That patent describes way too basic gameplay in so many games.
I kind of doubt the louder fanbase or even the gaming media will have too much of an issue, until a company they don’t like starts doing the same, so either Ubisoft or Microsoft.
Yeah which is AWFUL. It will have been too late by these. People need to realize that this bias given to Nintendo (and Playstation) only harms us all. As consumers we’re meant to hold businesses accountable for all of this crap.
Okay, so according to the windows central article the actual patent is:
The fact that Nintendo would file this at all is an affront to gaming and according to the article it went through rather easily and that’s a problem. Do the people in the patent offices not understand gaming and just how broad this is? I could believe it. Lord. I’d make some dramatic comment about boycotting Nintendo, but they already don’t care about me as a customer. The last Nintendo game I bought as XC3. It sucks knowing just how big Nintendo and Pokémon are and that they can get away with this.
Those are pretty bad and unless companies that created or hold the licenses for games that created these mechanics, go after Nintendo for patenting them. They will likely start using it to go after any game that even lowers their bottom line by 1%, they will also likely start making even more patents for mechanics they never created.
Tiny11 brings Windows 11 to old PCs without AI and bloatware | Windows Central
I like the sound of a lot of what Tiny11 gets rid of, but there are somethings I would want to keep, like Edge and the Xbox App(The app can be reinstalled though). But I do like that it seems to bypass the issues older PCs have with updating and removes Copilot.
WINUX provides the Windows 11 experience in a Linux distro | Windows Central
This Winux distro is mostly just a look alike(Ubuntu based) that comes with Edge, using the KDE Plasma as a front like how the Steam Deck does it but for creating a Windows like look. Imo, not worth it because Xbox is the most important part about Windows for me and not having access to it kind of kills any need I would have for it. I do want to remove copilot though and Tiny11 does so, I just got to migrate all my data away from Edge.
I want to see Nintendo fly too close to the sun and get burnt hard. If these patents continue at this rate then it will be in the interest of pretty much every publisher and developer to join Palworld in fighting Nintendo. Maybe that does it. Like the article mentioned how that’s basically how Nercomancers in Diablo IV fight, maybe Microsoft joins the fray. That’s all I can hope for because I don’t expect a mass boycott for the beloved Nintendo. But this type of anti-competitive behavior is dangerous to the humanities themselves (artistic content creation period). It’d affect all of gaming and have shockwaves even beyond. Really I’m so frustrated that the US government would let such a patent through or any of them in the first place.
Does make me curious if we’ll see community projects based on improving the Xbox Full Screen Experience when it launches. The people in the community putting work toward this stuff are the unsung heroes. Like Xbox Cloud Gaming would be so much worse for me without better XCloud.
Not rally part of their job description.
What, I think, is part of their job is to try and find prior art, which does indicate they’re quite oblivious in regards to gaming.
