XboxEra Community Hangout |OT14| New News? NEW THREAD

I guess that will depend if Xbox’s curation is in charge of making sure smart delivery is working.

So once again, the Xbox negativity machine is running! This time by Kepler saying that Xbox Seried consoles could only have sold from 21 million at least to 29 million at most. Using fabrication data apperantly.

Completely ignoring Take Two’s 32 milliin consoles leak and the previous one from Xbox Brazil that said 23 million plus(could have been 21) several years ago.

Spreading negative “news” aka BS for Xbox is par for the course at this point…I am wondering since the start of this gen what was the longest time that we didn’t have any controversy or drama surrounding the platform, it shouldn’t be a longer period than a week or so. lol

And while all this fake sales drama is unfolding I am having a ton of fun playing Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, the Shinobi: AoV demo and Streets of Rage 4 on my Xbox, “gamers” should definitely start playing games on their platform of choice and stop hating/fanboying for a change… :man_shrugging:

Seriously, the last one was FF16 didn’t sell well on Xbox and the rumor was it only sold 20,000. But even without numbers it took sales data about it being 4th place on Xbox for the month, before that rumor just died out.

Meanwhile I have likely played more than 20 gamew this year alone and I can’t even remember them all(should really start keeping track). On the platform that everyone screams about it being dead, while more and more studios start releasing games on it.

Just like we’re seeing with a certain individual, it’s all distraction; hard for the plebs to notice how poorly Sony’s been doing these last few years when you’re constantly making up bullshit about Xbox.

This comes out amid credible rumors that Sony wants to put games on Xbox. Coincidence I 'm sure.

Some more progress made on Wuchang today, just defeated Liu Wenxiu at the Zhenwu temple. He wasn’t too tough considering how hard Bo Sorcerer was, I would rate him as being easier than Honglan was well, he has some cool moves but he his health wasn’t too high making it so that my heavy damage combo takes away half his health if I land it.

The best thing I needed to fight him was armor to resist paralysis, slash and to learn his move set, I do kind of wish I used blink kick, but I wasn’t doing weapon skills for this fight.

Wait a damn minute…how are you playing games on a dead console and platform like Xbox? LOL. Obviously, im being sarcastic. Seriously, it’s so fucking tiresome.

I agree completely. I say play the games that you want to play where you want to play them and go on with the rest of your day.

I started Anthem over the weekend, really enjoying it so far. I have a few complaints but it’s got a lot of things it does well too. I’ll be sad to see it go in Jan.

The flying is still one of the best implementations I’ve seen in any game - truly makes you feel like Iron Man lol.

It’s a shame it launched with issues and not too much content, but also likely the hype was way too high for it - if it had been pushed as an AA game between Bioware’s big projects maybe it would have done better as it was quite fun especially in co-op

Wasn’t Kepler the guy who ran Vice News Gaming? Which shut down in short order? I bring this up because their console war mindset was so incredibly archaic and clearly something that many gamers simply didn’t have a taste for. It affected their success.

I look at that and contrast that to Forbes gaming coverage, something that I can actually take seriously. Paul Tassi knows what he’s doing there. I don’t agree with him many times but I still respect his work and give his takes a chance and consideration even if I disagree with it at first.

I bring this up because I used to write videogames, news and reviews for a major Canadian newspaper and it made me think about how gaming news and reviews could be elevated over the sort of stuff we saw in GamePro or EGM. I look at Forbes and see that same mindset. Windows Central has taken to this as well.

Paul Tassi was also smart about his coverage, knowing what gets clicks like quick guides and how-to’s for popular live service games. Something I respect far more than clickbait console war garbage.

Anyways, I know this is an aside topic to what you’re talking about Kal Els, but one that I’ve thought about will last 25 years.

If it were up to me, Anthem would’ve been repurposed into a Monster Hunter like game.

Just defeated Fierce Tiger Zhang Xianzhong, this guy was tough and I had to actually change my usual fighting style from long sword to Cinder Dragoncoil.

As the flamethrower attack and the weapon skill help keep me from using too many heals in phase one. Phase 2, I had to summon and was so glad to have 2 NPC show up to help.

Specially because I had no idea how I was going to learn this guys attacks in phase 2.

Don’t new sales go online usually on Tuesday or has that changed to a different day?

Usually, but there were some new ones that started the day after the Big Summer Sale ended on August 1st. I think that was for DLCs. They also had another “Deep Discount Sale” too.
