Yeah I remember hearing about it, I even watched a video if someone bricking their switch 2. Then buying another switch 2 to make sure their account wasnât banned.
Yeah I gotta say that ever since Switch 2, especially, theyâve been acting pretty shitty. Well, more shitty than usual, lol.

âWeâll take it from here.â
Everyone else to Microsoft
$250 million? That sounds completely unrealistic? I doubt there was any chance of that kind of money being paid out regardless.
Subnautica sold 5 million copies. Thatâs a big hit, but big enough for developers to be receiving multi million dollar bonuses? I donât buy it.
I assume this is due to the price increase unfortunately.
I do know the decisions impact outcomes, but trying to avoid spoilers lol.
And for those of us who do not or no longer have an X/Twitter account, here is the full thread unrolled so you can give it a read. It is so on point on many areas.
SideNote: It is incredible how absolutely worthless X/Twitter is to anyone without an account. It shows the post but wonât show any replies. You canât even see additional posts in the thread. You canât search. This absolutely horrible user experience will never drive people back to the platform. It merely makes it even more worthless than before.
A good and excellent take from someone who does understand the business in some form and is quite pratical about it and that is effectively using what BRiT here shared. Enjoy.
Thanks.
Positivity about Game Pass?
I know the trends are far bigger than any consumer, and the consolidation into even fewer entities is depressing (Roblox, forever; money into fewer and fewer pockets), but I canât help but have a small swipe at âfansâ who have shat on games for minor flaws and hate cycles over the years.
Is anyone starting to feel like thereâs has been more people discussing and arguing against playstation fanboys in terms of how they are handling helldivers 2 coming to xbox as well as how they are using layoffs and not knowing how to read to say they are winning the console war?
I noticed that many accounts from different social medias like x, youtube and other places are outright calling them out on spreding misinfortation and not handling the current changes happening to the market as a whole. A couple of years ago i would have thought this to be impossible but now am genuiely surprised to say the least.
Iâve been watching VGFightSchoolâs videos for awhile, he is so prolific, I canât barely keep up with his videos. He is very good in collecting the data and keeping the receipts, which is why a lot of his arguments appear strong. Heâs also open to speaking with other content creators- some time back he was on a podcast with Playstation CC PuertoRock, and they shared a civil discourse.
Oh definitely, but I tried both options for The Miner, both are not great one being terrible.
Changing of the old guard it seems. But in Microsoftâs case, they play the role of eternal vigil / pathfinder. Sometimes to their detriment. They saw thisnfrom a mile away. And nobody in games journalism will admit it, but MS is perfectly situated in this new paradigm shift in the industry.
There are more than enough examples of GP games selling a lot, and weâre going to get more examples now of GP games not being miraculously saved by the PS5 version.
Iâve been reading Doom flopped because of GP everywhere, but then i see it was ranked top 2 on both PS5 and PC, and Steam isnât suspected of not selling enough software, so maybe the GP impact overall isnât as big as people say? Sure it can hurt Xbox sales if 20-25 million players there are suscribed, but just on Steam there are around 200M monthly players so the sales potential is still big, and weâve seen it recently.
The problem was and is the latest games MS werenât appealing enough for the masses or they didnât get good enough reviews to gain attraction. Next year looks better with bigger IPâs but they have to start greenlighting smarter ideas, if the Fallout rumours are true, thatâs a good start.
And about GP, the big question is how is MS going to recover the suscribers theyâll lose from the console audience, with XSX not selling at all anymore, itâs not crazy to see an scenario with Xbox next gen being very niche, will PC GP grow enough to compensate this? Will MS find a way to not lose these 20-25 million suscribers from console GP? I dont think any of us know the answer tho
