I expect everything from Xbox to be multiplatform nowadays, Halo CE Remake looking great, crazy how it’s basically everything I was expecting lol, they don’t need to show me more, I just need a release date now, I’m expecting very late 2026 though.

The studio got remake (pun intended), so they are rebuilding themselves, starting with new remake, one in which started fresh with new engine and changes that aren’t simple as they think it is. You got to let them rebuild and slowly get back on their feet. They already have other projects in work, so this one is designed to test and celebrate the anniversary as well as being a send off to this generation if the rumor target for next gen is 2027 is correct.

I love how true to the original it is, while being a remake, man I need it now! it looks so good and I’m gonna have a blast playing this with my friends, and yes I agree, as cool as it would have been, it was unrealistic to expect the multiplayer to be fully remade in this.
Look at how cool the effects are when you shoot the hunters.

So I’ve been hearing there are issues with TOW2 Upgrade early access.
So anyone knows anything about BGI&II for MS Store? It’s not even showing as available with PC Gamepass anymore.

One thing I hope PS doesn’t think is with Xbox bringing their games to their system, they don’t need to do other things. Case in point, no need to revive Killzone or Resistance. Know what I mean?
I know, i just feel like xbox is gonna have to find a replacement for halo as the next flagship experience for xbox hardware and thigns like that and THAT my frineds is easier said than done.

Exactly! They are going to make Big Blockbuster games going forward and keep small cheap stuff cooking as well for prestige. Matt is letting all the teams cook!

It’s truly fine with me, this new direction they’ve been going into. If they announced right now every single game that is still exclusive to Xbox isn’t anymore, it’s whatever to me. Those days are long gone.

Oh I love the new Halo Remake! I’m downloading Master Chief collection on my Xbox, PC and Xbox Ally to play and finally beat the original. Oh and on X Halo is the number 1 trending story in the world!! I guess Halo isn’t dead after all! Welcome Back Master Chief!!

Its the brand value that is more of an issue here not the exclusive or multiplat. Given how much prince hikes on both game pass and their own consoles, it makes things sound horrible.
I am still quite a sturborn guy, unless i start to see playstation removing their wall on exclusives like they did with helldivers 2 than i will remain very skeptical that this is good for the xbox ecosystem long term. I do not care for playstation,i care about my actual library still being there once i get back from work and not having to fear that xbox is pulling the plug on the ecosystem because they make more money on playstation.
Sorry, i sound like a crazy person, and given how amy hood and even satya are being right now with ai am just more concerned than ever right now.

If they’re making loads of cash it seems unlikely they’d throw away their own ecosystem. The two are connected. Especially so with PC.
Ultimate hike is the biggest issue, as I see it. But the differentiator is still there: it’s by far the best sub service.

I’ve spoken on this before regarding Xbox going multiplat. People have used it as a dig at Xbox but nobody is really discussing the implications it might have on Sony 1st party. If there is no Xbox hardware for instance, then there is no need for Sony to make exclusives. So no loss leader or showcase type games and more service games, microtransactions, etc…

It’s working for me on PC with the Premium upgrade and it worked for my brother on Xbox as we share purchases and GPU subscriptions.
I find it hard to believe PlayStation will remain if Xbox leaves. There is nothing on PlayStation, no excitement, no cheap way of playing games, absolutely nothing going for it. Even the influencers have nothing to say or recommend about it. Other than Spiderman none of their exclusives on PS5 have sold over 5million. Ragnarok, Horizon and Last of us have been bundled and released on PS4 and helldivers is multiplat. If anything, they seem in more trouble than they let on.
Also, none of your old exclusive library is going to PlayStation and if they ever would it would take an eternity to get them all. If you’re that bothered about exclusives just go to PC where you have more guarantee of your library. To conclude I’m sure PlayStation will release more of their games on Xbox as they have nowhere else after PC to go but they probably want Xbox to get the blowback first and when people are adjusted to it they come in like always.
