Does anyone know when the Xbox ally reviews drop?
This si what makes the most sense to me, but I think it’d be best to announce both at the same time. Like, “Hey. We’re bringing Xbox Full Screen experience to gaming desktops and laptops starting with XYZ partner device (like the ROG Xbox Ally with a similar timeline where it gets released a few months later that same year).” and then a big tease trailer at the end of the showcase where it’s like, “The next evolution of Xbox comes in 2027 made by Xbox for Xbox fans.” something like that. Or who knows? Maybe both drop the same year or we just get another AMD announcement like tease.
Now I await for the inevitable “BF6 lost over 70% users since launch” headline.
No at the moment the media is behind it as a “CoD killer” as now Xbox own CoD they want it to die.
So expect them to push it hard
Well there’s that. We’re definitely back when that line has made its return.
Oh shit, I’d love that. I saw that in the video title of his podcast it said “next gen plans cancelled,…or not.” Something along those lines. What did he say on that?
If true about Fable it might be a good sign things are going well and is on track for a 2026 launch.
He actually said a Partner Preview next month and a Direct in January with Xbox doing something at the VGA. He also said next year the 4 horsemen are coming (Halo, Gears, Forza and Fable)
It’s not cancelled. Just that people can be tricked to believe in it due to the bad news and it’s hard to blame them. Some of us can be easily manipulated, which is sadly normal.
To be fair, EA and DICE did a great job with the marketing, they hit all the hot COD negative talking points. Listening to players, back to the roots with grounded & authentic military tone, no colorful skins.
But give it a couple of months and people will get bored, player base will dwindle and most will try to find some fault with the game to pin it as the reason for the downfall.
Yep they’re also doing the old CoD trick, where PS Plus players get an XP boost and tier skips.
Sony is marketing it hard to replace the lost CoD blitz…
Oh he didn’t specifically say Fable will be at the January direct? Still, if the game is planned for next year it makes sense. Wonder what they’ll have for VGA(TGA?).
Oh and Halo, Halo 1 Remake I guess?
I hope Xbox can manage to get even a late release as SoR4+Mr. X Nightmare is an all-time great beat 'em up. A future Xbox world where we’d have to boot into the Steam store on the same box would be fine but not preferable for all of these titles choosing to miss Xbox proper.
I think they’ll just focus on rolling it out to all handhelds and get it ready for the console in 2027. Don’t even think there is anything new in AMD’s roadmap for APUs in 2026.
He said he expects Fable to be at the Direct next year January and that the word inside Xbox is they will see the 4 horsemen release which are Fable, Gears, Forza and Halo release next year. It’s going to be a solid year for Xbox next year. I imagine Xbox will piggy back off GTA next year.
I imagine these guys want the Game Pass bag as indies do better on Xbox and they decided to prioritize PlayStation over Xbox. If the Xbox app verified program is what we all expect I’d say more people would default to the Xbox app on handhelds.

They managed to gathered the dragon balls and brought this game back to life!
Daima is sending all the DB games to hell (the demon realm)
You mean HFIL.
That’s odd, because DotEmu has brought games to Xbox before.
All sounds great and the main four IP’s coming in 2026 makes me believe that their Xbox/PC console hybrid is Fall 2026 because nothing they will release in 2027 would be as big as those four games together would be.
Still hoping for Fall 2026 for the hybrid console. I want to move on, start fresh and have my all in one gaming console already!!
Side note - I believe Fable will be part of the Direct after the Showcase in June. I’m not expecting it to be part of the Developer Direct but who knows, maybe they’ll do both.
