His PR hasn’t been the best, so he’s clearly trying show he’s a more neutral voice.
But I would still bet he will do the same thing he’s done every time he presents something Xbox on his shows.

I think he does this for all shows pretty much to try and center him as the main guy for all this shows. This is to build him up and not a favor to gamers.
Does anyone know which character or cat is shown in the Phil spencer teaser. The only cat I know is Blinx which I doubt this is.
Its kinda wild how much Xbox has to do vs. PS putting out maybe…5-7 minutes of interesting footage all year between AstroBot and Ghost of Yotei for people to talk this way about it.
Thanks. It doesn’t look like the character, but they are hinting something.
I was kinda hoping we would hear something about a new Resident Evil yesterday. Getting real antsy waiting for Resident Evil 9 lol.
TGA perhaps.
Yeah I watched that slog of a SoP last night hoping that RE9 will be shown but sadly it was a no show. I guess there’s still TGS and TGA as possible events for an announcement IF the game is indeed scheduled to be released at the 1st half of the year (maybe April or May?). Really curious to see RE9 though, it’s supposedly an ambitious title for the IP plus the RE7 team is working on it since 2018 IIRC.
My backlog is always growing and I have no plans of ever shrinking it. Mostly because I play a game to a certain point and drop it when another launches.
Yeah I think whatever they are working on is just a game with a Raccoon in it.
Their YouTube channel has almost nothing on it (even the video posted to Twitter wasn’t there), but looks like maybe a raccoon that delivers mail or something, world looked good. Studio started in 2018.
RE not your comment, but the animal in that video is just a cat, moving its tail, licking a paw, and flopping for a nap.
Now we know what time. (Steam, that is)
Having content to show means a whole lot, and we’re seeing that finally over the past few years, but gamers are so picky about how things are presented that she’s ensuring it never is a talking point among pundits who are looking to nitpick.
Xbox used to love those developer interviews and statements, and while there was some benefit in it, getting rid of it helps the showcase, for example.
It helps that they separated them like extended or Gamescom.
So no Dragon Quest at the Sony show. There’s a chance Xbox gets to debut that, however something tells me they just aren’t ready yet to show the game. We had a super small update on it this year iirc, and basically the dev was going well or something.
I don’t think it’s reasonable to any big Japanese game to get it’s first real look at an Xbox TGS show lol. Even games like Metaphor were saved for the Showcase.
