This is really cool.
Very enjoyable to watch. Itâs his very first game at 69 and his patience is very commendable. If my father was still alive I think I would try this with him too.

I mean they have a point but at the same time if these games were actual exclusives, they were never going to push hardware, multiplat is how they are going to recoup their money and keep them in this business and land we enjoy seeing them in.
The Xbox brand is beyond repair hardware wise. Only shot I see them having is a hand held, an under the box device is not going to appeal to enough people to warrant it being made.
Anyone tried Boosteroid?
Both Series S and Series X have each sold 2-3x what the Steamdeck has.

Xbox is best positioned for handheld due to Series S specs,l; a PS6 or even PS5 in handheld form impossible in 2 years or so. This could definitely be a game changer.

From what I recall, SteamDeck is under 5 Million, passing 3 million during 2023. Barely a blip.

Agreed. Was just trying to be generous since their numbers are secret. Either way, theres clearly a viable path for under TV and handheld.

Same, although as I posted in the movies thread I think a big part of whether it gets done will depend who currently owns the IP.
Iâm not sure if itâs Activision, Square Enix or Embracer.
Talking of Embracer I was looking at stocks the other day and noticed their market cap is âonlyâ $510 million now, itâs crazy how far theyâve fallen.
Ubisoft are arguably in a even tougher position but theyâre still valued in the billions.

Why are games like Citizen Sleeper 2 and the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters Series X|S only? 
Wouldnât they sell more copies if they could sell them on Xbox One as well? Is there some advantage to the developers in making it only compatible with the new gen consoles?
The only thing I can think of is not having to mess around with the Xbox One memory configuration.

I feel people overestimate the popularity of steamdecks. Itâs still a niche market and not being available at traditional retailers hurts the popularity of the hardware. I wouldnât be shocked if rog ally and lenovo go hardware is close to it in sales.
Supporting XBO automatically adds 2 more versions for the game and if you include the Series consoles we are talking 4 SKUs in total. The core audience of Xbox (who are the biggest spenders) is on the Series consoles anyway so I guess devs prioritize those for their games.
