I tried to get into it. I just hate the fucking combat so much, it’s hard as balls and janky

Tempted to get it on digital for cloud gaming.

Was there some breakthrough in medicine and first person illness is finally cured? I saw nobody complain.

Not sure I understand these questions.

I’m expecting the game to be great and do great critic and sales wise but it’s not for me. I don’t like the over realistic grounded combat. Not for me. Hope it does great though because Embracer Group could use a big game victory in my opinion.

Nah, I bought the first one in one of the xbox sales and havnt even started it yet

According to one previewer the combat is much more approachable though. But I do get what you mean.

Yeah same. It’s also unfortunate that the studio never enhanced it for current gen. So it’s stuck at 30fps.

It’s about how grifters and fan boys where using motion sickness as a reason they would never play Indiana Jones.

Which sucks because it’s a legitimate issue and when people use it like that it tends to rile up assholes on both sides. Some faking motion sickness and others saying that you’re faking motion sickness, which diminishes the talk around it for people who do get motion sickness and are looking for help.

Ah right, ok. I wasn’t aware of that about Indiana Jones. Yeah it’s definitely a real issue. I know someone personally who hates it so much when a game she otherwise would look forward to is first person only because she has motion sickness when playing first person games.

But I haven’t seen anything regarding motion sickness about KCD2 yet. But then again, wouldn’t we expect that for every first person game overall?

Which for people that have motion sickness is something they should worry about, because they can never know until they try a game, but there are people who use motion sickness that they don’t have to dismiss a game.

Because of console warring bs, or they hate a company, or they are trying to create controversy to run some type of grift.

Yeah, some people just fucking suck!

The epidemic will resurface by the time Avowed and Outer Worlds 2 are out, count on it.

Yeah im scared to even fire up Indy, motion sickness iminent.

Yeah, I definitely do.

For Avowed it was nonsense, because we all expect their rpgs to be first person and it was a pleasant surprise when optional 3rd person was announced. But I don’t recall much complaints about it regarding motion sickness, same with Indy. I recall folks being disappointed that they didn’t go for 3rd person for it. Still hoping they add a option for it, because someone got a bug where he stayed in 3rd person and it looked cool!

Damn, that really sucks.

If you do go into the settings try the cinematic mode before starting, @Sikamikanico mentioned that it helps with it. I also think @Mort mentioned it being better experience.

Plus 1 – I am not super sensitive but was feeling a bit off and cinematic mode entirely removed that. That being said, YMMV.

The only part that got me feeling a little bit off was rushing through three boxing matches in a row and going for rapid counters and even faster punches. That had too much fast motion. I should have paused between matches.

Had to get my hands on this one too. I’m a sucker for a good collector’s edition. Especially when there’s an artbook.
