I’ve got some candy-coloured EBL rechargeables with 2500 mAh. The regular price (pack of 10) is even cheaper than the itson sale price (8.) At least here in Germany. Still going strong after two years. And the different colours are fun to use. (Yeah, you heard me.)
Eneloop Pros are actually the only batteries that have ever crapped out on me. Although some older regular ones are still good.
Plenty of well-regarded alternatives these days. Most of them come from the same factory, anyway.
The most important thing is that you are happy with your product.
If I may add something, one famous french youtuber made an analysis of all the AA rechargeable batteries of the market and observed that the mean value of the 4 EBL batteries he tested was pretty low compared to the official value shown
So probably that a battery with min 2000 mah would be enough with respect to your play
The reason why people still praise “low but costly” 2000 mah capacity is because they promise to work nearly as good after 5-10 years of use, but that something very difficult to prove in personal video test, outside of verified protocol in factory, so like I said, the most important thing is that you are happy with what you have
Cheaper batteries (not always, Ikea ladda batteries have good reputation about it for example) tends to diminish of capacity more rapidly with time
I see the numbers, but it still doesn’t break out to the casual or non-gaming audience. The 1498 channels are mainly gaming channels watched by gamers.
I would love a remake, although hopefully there’d be less bits set in Oblivion (was that the name of their hellish “other side”?) as I really hated the Daedric crap lol - I imagine I’ll be disappointed though as it is in the name, I think I just found them disorientating and bland.
However the main world I adored - I imagine the remake will sort the “bloom” issue too, where it seems super bright and saturated - I remember thinking how bright and lovely it was compared to the usual dark games when I first played it on the 360, but now going back to it I’m almost blinded in my old man eyes by the sheer white / brightness of it lol
Think I already posted a link before talking about a new chip AMD was building just for Microsoft as they’re such a big client - but it turns out they’re also by far the biggest client of Nvidia, purchasing over twice as many of the flagship Hopper AI chips than any competitor.
Makes sense, as Microsoft are busy shoe-horning Copilot to Windows, Office and Visual Studio particularly for the corporate market, and no doubt Bing and other uses of AI are creeping up too.
It does at least show the huge working relationships that Xbox may have access to and potentially be able to leverage in future…
I remember seeing the very first screenshot of Oblivion back in the day, was it in a magazine or website I don’t know anymore but oh man did that look insanely good. If I recall correctly it was this picture.
I’m happy with this news and hopefully it doesn’t change. I want to keep seeing From releasing games on Xbox, especially with the news that they are trying new things and not only Souls games. And With Sony I don’t fully trust that they won’t exclude Xbox…at all.
If Sony has MS money, they would buy it with no hesitation. The fact it took a while shows you that they can’t really afford it. The best way to keep Tencent away in a sense is to be the larger shareholders. If they did buy them, it would take years for Sony to get their money back and have to rely on their projects to keep them growing and highly profitable.
I must admit I’m finding Jez’s articles more and more strange lately.
The section around Xbox competing for content was a) not really necessarily and b) not even comparable.
Even if the acquisition did happen and Sony made the content exclusive, how would anything outside of Elden Ring even compare to the IP’s Xbox acquired from ABK? It’s a completely different ballpark. COD alone makes billions.
It’s funny seeing some people go all “watch Sony still ship games to PC, but not Xbox, blabla” eh bro, Sony won’t be able to do shit, they didn’t acquire a damn thing.
