The issue I have with this game reveal is that it doesnāt show any gameplay. So there is nothing for me to hype about.
Only glimpse of gameplay it shows is somewhat similar to light saber in Star Wars. Which is good.

Iām afraid of that too. And this is while a slip to 2026 for GTA is very possible too. Itās tricky for the pubs.

So that Elden Ring standalone.
Is it the same map, creatures, etc as base game but just with three player co-op option? Or is this a new world?
As someone who didnāt buy the game because I just donāt like āpunishingā myself too much, lol, a co-op experience could be just what I want!
After I finish Metaphor, I am going to try out Silent Hill 2 remake. I hope I like that game more than Alan Wake 2

The Outer Worlds: The Company We Keep
I had high hopes for this one, and they were mostly delivered. Featuring Amos, a space orphan with unbelievable luck (at times) who is looking to earn a buck. He finds that Auntie Cleoās company is looking for test subjects and he volunteers. Felicity was his friend who went to work for them, and he was hoping to finally see her again.
Itās The Outer Worlds, so capitalism has run amok and these tests kill most of their subjects. Amosā luck holds out (a bit) and we get an emotionally satisfying ending. The CGI takes the style of the game and dials it up to 100, with really weird-looking human characters that are just a bit off. I dug it, along with how well it felt like the IP.

There will be similar areas and enemies as itās Elden Ring, but the team at FromSoftware heading this co-op game are bringing in a lot of stuff from previous souls games.
At least 2 characters from Dark Souls 3 have been brought over, the Fire Keeper: the woman that is asking us to fight and The Nameless King: the man ridding on top of the dragon shooting lightning down on us.
From the little Iāve seen of it, so far it feels like this is going to be closer to a Monster Hunter type game. But I will be watching lobosjr cover the IGN article about it(anytime I can skip IGN, lol).
Elden Ring Nightreign is a 3 player (you donāt make a character, there are 8 to choose from) survivalesque game. You try to survive three day/night cycles then the map shrinks and forces you to fight the boss.
I asked the same thing on a different forum and this person claims:
Itās kinda like a co-op rogue lite. There will be waves lasting 15 minutes and you have to survive it. Itās not a co-op of the base game.
If heās not trolling meā¦itās not going to be for me, lol. A actual co-op experience of ER would absolutely be my jam.
That being said, i see ER is in the sale now, shit, decisions, decisions.

I 1000/1000d Elden Ring and played through Shadow of the Erdtree and I wonāt be getting Nightreign because that just isnāt my type of game.

Itās time for me to go to the water temple, the infamous water temple in OOT. As two children in the 90s me and my brother gave up on that, that is where we quit. I donāt remember the exact details anymore and why we never bothered to try again, but hey, such is life I guess.

Itās nowhere nearly as bad as an adult, and if you have the 3DS version, itās been streamlinedā¦ that reminds me that I still need to beat the 3DS version lol. Guess I have another target for the challenge next year

Itās the N64 version via Nintendo Switch Online. And at times I definitely am fighting these controls, I try to auto target annoying bats or crows and it just wonāt do it but overall Iām having one hell of a good time!

seamless co-op elden ring is amazing on PC with mods, one of the greatest things you could ever play.

Oh I bet, why oh why didnāt From implement that properly for console as well? Iād probably have been playing it on day one.
