I was in the same boat, the vibe between the synopsis and the trailer was totally different. Obviously, the game will reveal more, but other than looking good, I was kinda disappointed with it. Reminded me too much of Star Lords entrance to the MCU.

I didnât think the Intergalactic trailer was bad, but I donât feel they showed anything to get people too excited for it.
All we know of it is that like Outer Worlds, Cyberpunk and a lot of other games set in a dystopia corporations play a major role. Thereâs meele combat versus robots that look like aliens(?), 3rd person action game.
For me at least I need to see a bit more, before I can make a decision.

If anything, this proves that just because a trailer starts with the ND nameplate doesnât mean that it will be received well⌠despite the assumptions to the opposite just a few days ago by some.

I am at the point where I donât get excited by any trailers at all. All hype noise about something I have played a dozen times already. Hell, most games.
Iâm getting old, I think.

I think the hype for intergalactic trailer is due to this being Naughty Dogâs newest IP. The trailer itself didnât show much to be negative towards it or enough to get super hyped about it. I thought it was an interesting introduction, but they didnât show enough to wow me. However, itâs naughty dog, so I will most likely buy it day one. I just hope its not soulslike

It would have been hilarious to witness someone bashing the game because of appearance and such, only to cool off quickly the moment ND logo or âthe creator ofâŚâ kicks in. Thatâs what the recent trailer did.

You should feel terrible, if true, because itâs an absolutely shit practice and just one of the many shitty elements weâre seeing out of Bungie since the HR director left and sued them for racial/sexual discrimination

Personally the new ND game looks meh, too similar in vibe to many games that have been released recently and quite a few that have flopped.
The amount of people proclaiming it the best thing in the show or the thing theyâre most excited for âas ND doesnât missâ really makes the fervent brand cult that Sony has built up come into focus - thereâs even supposedly mature PS journalists attacking anyone disagreeing that it doesnât look amazing or that TLoU2 wasnât the best game ever made (PushSquare, take a bow as usual).
Thereâs a real danger for Sony if they start to believe their own hype - the weirdo fanatics may hang around but even those didnât buy Concord, although I guess with the PlayStation Defence Force always out fighting the good fight and the âdefaultâ console position theyâre safe enough.
Otherwise was much more excited about The Outer Worlds 2, staggered itâs so soon as I thought it was years away - obviously Obsidian like Playground will never get the recognition for being powerhouses that Insomniac getsâŚ

Yeah everyone blamed Microsoft then blamed Activision (to be fair, Kotick always was an easy figure to hate but funny Sony doesnât get any blame now), but now weâre all starting to realise Bungie were likely quite toxic and didnât like having a parent company that kept them in lineâŚ

They will (twice if that make sense) when they announce the successor.
Itâs just nearly impossible to catch up with Nintendo at this point in the handheld market, as a handheld has almost always been part of their strategy.
Thankfully though the market still has room for other companies to grow and make a ton of money.
Saw the Intergalactic trailer, it looked ok I guess. Feel like if it didnât have the ND lable attached there wouldnât be much hype behind it. Like most Sony first party games. It is funny that the MC looks almost exactly like a woman at my job, down to the buzzcut .
Capcom and Sega pretty much shut everything down IMO. Ryu Ga Gotoku studios new IP looked very much up my alley. Not to mention Virtua Fighter. I need that new Onimusha game!
Oh and Fumito Uedaâs new game looks intriguing too!
