Glad Naughty Dog is doing something new but Intergalactic looked painfully generic to me. Hope I am proven wrong in 3-4 years and it blows my socks off.

Really wish they had a different name. In a weird way, itā€™s such a mouthful.

My main thought after the TGA : Obsidian are so efficient !

I know naughty dog didnā€™t give a release date for its new game but I bet itā€™s 2026. Also with avowed outer worlds and fable in 25 I bet one of those moves to 26 as well but I could be wrong

Wow, TGAā€™s getting bigger and bigger each year o_O

The Witcher 4 is going to be huge, sadly itā€™s still 2-3 years away i guess.

Two Obsidian games on the same year, really unexpected from me! Curious it was announced for PS5 since i think the first announcement said it was exclusive? But if thatā€™s MSā€™s strategy, iā€™m happy itā€™s day 1, itā€™ll help sales wise a lot, which will also help Obsidian to keep growing.

Solasta 2 was one of the best announcements for me, 2026 it seems for full releaseā€¦ patience, Uedaā€™s game looks interesting at least too.

TLOU 2 on PC was big for me too, really liked Part 1, and even i already got spoiled quite a bit for this second part, iā€™m still looking to play it on release, also great that Rebirthā€™s coming very soon, already played this one, but if you havenā€™t, i totally recommend it, much better than Remake.

Didnā€™t like newā€™s Naughty Dog game tone, reminds me to Marvel movies, which are not for me, they didnā€™t show much tho so weā€™ll see, but it just made me want more of TLOU instead of this new IP not gonna lie.

Astro Bot getting GOTY was expected, tho i hoped Wukong or Metaphor would have won it, good for ASOBI

Same here. Honestly it was giving me the concord vibes.

It did have a late 70ā€™s - early 80ā€™s vibe, although there were also 90ā€™s references so it seemed all over the place.

Iā€™m hoping itā€™s just a bad trailer, but sheesh that name is awful too!

ND were always one of if not my favourite developers, which waivered a bit with TLOU2, so I have been looking forward to a new IP from them for so long. Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s the management now but there seems to be other things they are trying to address rather than just making a good game.

The trailer for Split Fiction with Josefā€™s colourful commentary was a breath of fresh air in comparison. All about gameplay and having fun, no need for any of the other BS that the gaming medium now tries to include.

Everyone kinda expected Outer Worlds 2 to be on Playstation since the first one was, so its no punch in the gut so to speak and it makes sense.

Although i canā€™t wait to see how media inteprets this as Xbox dying once more like they always do. Its like they forget that not all is going and it still is going to be case by case, Xbox knows is foolish to disregard their own consumer base.

I still think Wukong was robbed for the Game of the Year. No offense to Astro Bot, it manages get the ones knew it would but Game of the year was more deserving for Wukong or Metaphor.

Xbox has 6 announced games for next year with CoD likely to be announced. Theyā€™re so dead, theyā€™re alive.

Wasnā€™t it announced as console exclusive?

I am like whatever about that since it makes sense due to first game was multiplat. However, I can see why it might cause some noise due to first being announced as console exclusive.

Anyway, Iā€™m hyped for that game because I loved the first one, and the sequel looks better

Oh i get the anger and resentment from consumer point of views, but i felt its was the ideal game for multiplat.

Also we have like what 6 confirmed exclsuives, 3 full on in the form of South of Midnight, Fable and Avowed and 3 in the form of Mecha Break( From Amazing Seasun), Replaced(Sat Cat studios) and Sleight of Hand(Riff Raff games)

The only real fear i feel as a consumer is if Xbox prioritize playstation and Nintendo ports instead of their own userbase and ecosystem. Cause if you become in favor of one and ignore the other that has been with you for decades, well the results are catastrophic and i doubt any of them are that willing to make that mistake.

I remember how we have to rely on one first-party game per year and it can be the famous 3 titles, spin-off or not.

Yeah, it could get messy if the base ps5 version outperform series x version . We all saw how the smallest of difference had negative discourse with games like sea of thieves and hifi rush caused. They just need to ensure the xbox version is better than the base PS5 version

The funny thing is, Sony failed to advertise PS5 Pro like ā€œIntergalactic is running on Pro.ā€

Hey at least Outer Worlds on PS5 DayOne means it has a shot at a high 80s metacritic

If someone told me that this Intergalactic trailer was a trailer for a new Concord character Iā€™d believe them. :stuck_out_tongue:

It looked generic and boring AF to me and I didnā€™t like at all the whole ā€œlook at how retro 80ā€™s I am!ā€/ā€œretrowaveā€ mixed with sci-fi style.

About TGA in general there was a lot of really cool stuff shown, definitely the best show Keighley has done IMO.

I feel like Im taking crazy pills reading some of the reactions to it. ā€œTHAT LOOKS INCREDIBLEā€ What does? Other than a polished cutscene and trent reznor score, it was a person walking through a spaceship, grotesque product placement, and dime store Guardians of the Galaxy vibes.

That isnt arguing that the game wont be good. Its arguing that nothing in that trailer gave any indication there is anything worth being excited about.
