Psychonauts 2 is also only £5.49 which is ridiculously cheap.

GOTY 2025, certified by Keighley awards.

That was short.

Could we, for the love of god, stop posting links to X? Elon Musk is societal cancer and using his shitty platform should be a bannable offense. Anyone of consequence has moved to Blue Sky. Post the Blue Sky links instead.

And if possible, I’d love for Blue Sky and Threads to have the same kind of integration that X has here, where a proper post preview is shown.

Trust me, if there’s another source that post news day and date, I will migrate there day one.

This was probably one of the first 360 games I remember playing. It was so good id love to go back and play it. It’s not bc tho right?

To my knowledge, it isn’t.

This game somehow keeps popping up after all these years even though it was very mediocre and forgettable, it’s like the memory gods are keeping it around for some reason

76 has been amazing for the majority of its lifespan at this point, and it’s insane to think we were seeing the same kinds of “76 is finally good” articles for almost three years in a row because the media bubble simply doesn’t think for themselves (if they did, a modicum of research and actually playing the game would have been informative).

Anyway, amazing game and such a perfect example of why sticking with a service game that launches poorly isn’t a guarantee of failure; Bethesda, to their credit (and Xbox to theirs), actually listened to the community and spent 18 months effectively rebuilding the game to the point that when Wastelanders launched, the game really became a special experience. One of my favorite, and most played, games of the last decade.

This is the first time I’m hearing of this. Are you making a joke, or did he really do something?

It seems Elon wants in on the gaming industry:

Yeah you can read his Hellblade 2 review (or the preamble to it, it might be the discussion just before the review itself) he did for his SubStack site / newsletter Game File.

It almost made me cancel my sub then, but I thought I’d give him a chance as he was at least trying to mitigate / overcome his biases.

Then we had studio closures at both Xbox and PlayStation, and both had showcases shortly after - he covered the PlayStation one with zero comment apart from fanboying over some of their stuff then a week later covered the Xbox one with “they failed to mention their studio closures” and other digs despite it being considered by even IGN etc to have been the best showcase by any platform in years.

I unsubbed then and made clear why, in the hope he may change his ways - I’ve not bothered going back since to check

I don’t mean Totilo here but generally I’ve similarity seen journos crying over Xbox shutting down studios they would have otherwise ignored if not shit on (Arkane Austin). Currently shitting on Bethesda Game Studios just casually but that’s okay, for some reason, they’re allowed to shit on things and wish they flop, but if said things developers were laid off or shutdown, it’s something they can never forgive or overlook. Make it make sense.
