Man, I saw a peak of MSFS2024 and itās pretty amazing. The support page said theyāre close to fixing the problem altogether. Almost home.

got in on PC, controls are borked. completely messed up in a helicopter using a controller or m&k. my flightstick works but it canāt navigate any menus which means the mouse and keyboard cause everything to drift left non-stop. not a fun first day to try and do a review

I wonder if itās also a server issue?
It looks people are in the air, and once theyāre there, no major complaints about the performance, if the live streams are anything to go by. Iām sorry @Doncabesa has been having so much problems.

I got in tonight, worked better. UI issues with controls are still a hassle. I feel like Iām going to have to completely rebind my flight stick. It uses an ungodly amount of data. An hour long flight if youāre site-seeing around a major city.

I know starfield announced 15 million players today. Does anyone have the official number for big Xbox games like halo infinite, grounded, Forza 5 etc
I think the last number I saw for Halo Infinite was 30m and Forza Horizon 5 was 40m.

Finished the BO6 campaign in time to hop into Stalker. Iām really impressed with its quality and breadth of missions. I also finished one of the zombies levels with some buddies which was a solid time. Multiplayer Iāve dabbled with and itās competentāI just find the map designs to be outright bad. Very good overall package which deserves kudos in and of itself with how content packed the game is at launch.

Forza Horizon 5 has a leaderboard or something that shows the amount of total players there are, idk if people still are keeping track of it or not.

Are metered / capped limits common in the USA?
Iām in the UK, donāt think Iāve had a cap for over 20 years now (there used to be fair use caps beyond which theyād slow you a bit, but now theyāre set ridiculously high at terabytes a day) so didnāt actually pay any attention to how much data it used.
Imagine it is high though as the install size is so small but thereās just so much to the map - even in a small city like mine thereās not many issues which is impressive in itself, and itās so much more detailed than the last one.
Also, are the control issues just with helicopters? Iāve been using a controller and have been doing OK with planes (although yes for the UI Iāve had to check the bindings and sometimes use the M+K, but no drifting) but not given those a go yetā¦
My internet speeds are a lot better with partial fibre than it used to be when it was all on copper, Very much looking forward to getting the full fibre upgrade and the huge speed boost that comes with it.
