DS2 was the first to get remastered, Scholar of the First Sin on Xbox One/PS4, is a 60fps game.
Man, I hope they do this for Far Cry 3 classic. Only the 360 versiygot fps boost
I was told Forza Horizon could never be nominated for goty because goty is only for “certain type of games” so can someone explain how Balatro is nominated

I think he just means if it was back then, it wouldn’t be allowed.
I’m not talking about this year I’m talking about in general. Horizon has never been nominated and not even in a year where it was the highest rated game on metacritic that year. We were told goty is only for certain types of games and Horizon isn’t that type of game. So I’m trying to understand what that means with Balatro being nominated.

It never has if it’s associated with Sony. The last four+ years have proven without a shadow of a doubt that, at the very least, the media is heavily biased towards Sony (and Nintendo, don’t get me started on their cover of copyright abuse) and against Xbox. Best defense against this garbage perversion of the truth is to simply not support it…

Dude you asked why is balatro nominated. I explained it is the game of year. Balatro is not an open world racing game.
It’s kind of the opposite… what we’re always “told” is that any game can be GOTY, but the unspoken part is that sad dad third person shooters count as real games but driving and other genres don’t. This year, what we’re told is what’s actually happening. 
There was no Forza Horizon this year so the coast was clear for other types of games.
Yep and now DLC is allowed because From give Keighley loads of exclusive tidbits etc.
Overall, Keighley can fuck off.

So racing games aren’t allowed to be goty but card games can what are you talking about lol. The first go around they implied it’s for only certain types of games meaning 3rd person narrative games, platformers, RPGs and Forza doesn’t qualify but they nominated a card game

It’s a huge joke, for damn sure. I’m sure The dlc is great but it’s not a game. Ah well. Not watching it live anyway. I’m checking it out for new game reveals and that’s it.

Astro bot sold 1.5m units, 90+ rated in a niche genre gets nominated. FH5 90+ rated, 10m players in a week, million+ preorders, 42m players as of today in a ‘niche’ genre get snubbed. Maybe if FH5 was made by Sony/Nintendo it would have a better chance, cause that’s the only other major difference.
