Jesse brought up a good point. This game really shadow dropped to the point achievement wasn’t online. It’s probably why there’s no achievement list from the very start. That’s one way to escape the leak.

Right now I have two that I can think of. One being Mirelurks in Fallout 3 and 4 (have not played 76 much) when they creep up on you. When you hear them walking in the distance, it’s cool but for some reason is a unsettling sound, lol.

The wraiths in Oblivion dungeons when they scream, jesus. Maybe as a third one, the zombies in Zelda OoT?

I did not like DS on PS4 so I won’t buy on Xbox even though it’s tempting. Kojima, I’m just not so much into his games and I gave them all many chances, well, I only liked MGSV, that was great and I was sad there wasn’t more iterations of it Ubisoft-style

Anyway, upcoming podcasts are gonna be spicy

It’s honestly insane that nobody is seemingly trying to take the MGSV formula and do something with it especially in the open world craze we have today

It’s a lose lose situation if you’re into the console war (crap). If Sony still owns DS IP, then Sony is sharing and no one likes that there. With Sony giving them to Kojima, they would be like “Sony won’t share because it’s not even theirs so ha ha,” yet not realizing all DS property is coming to Xbox going forward. Essentially, lost their own exclusive.

But that’s just console war mumbo jumbo. This is nice for everyone.

Director’s Cut is a different SKU, a quick google search seems to suggest there are ways you can transfer saves.

How would i do that? The old version is now delisted and i deleted it ages ago from my pc

That happens sometimes with shadowdropped games. Will be fixed today or tomorrow.

Wish I can say try for like an hour or so before refund is no longer allowed, but Kojima’s game tend to take time before you can grasp its style. I had the chance to play it when it was on PC Game Pass, but sadly I was too busy at the time, so I missed my chance.

Yeah I bet before any gameplay starts you’ll have to sit through a hour or so (exeggerating, but…) of cutscenes.

I wrote the game off years ago without having played it, but reviews made it sound so boring, like such a chore. But I do like walking simulators and a good story. From what a friend with a PS5 has told me so far it does sound good. I don’t need yet another game though, but it’s a nice deal, lol.

Death Stranding takes hours before it opens up and you get to the real game. Its slow.

I played it for a while on PS4 and made it like 3-4 hours in just to where you open up the second area of the map and stopped playing. Apparently that is where the game opens up.

Rockstar the last studio I’d worry about technically regarding the S lmao, GTA 5 is still more advanced than many, many modern games and that’s on 2005 hardware.

I praise one more time the Quick Resume feature for Death Stranding Director’s Cut. The beginning of the game is so slow AND it doesn’t save your progress until a certain point. You’re almost forced to play for 2 hours to be able to save manually, BUT Quick Resume saves the day !
