Would really love for this to bang so those people get hit in the face
I have to assume games have the biggest spike in release day, so not that crazy. Glad itās doing well, āthatā community needs to take an L for once lol.
Bigger Steam launch than Star Wars Jedi Survivor too btw, biggest for EA single player games.

I love Christmas but sheesh, can you guys wait one extra day before telling me Thanksgiving is filler.
I bought the $600 Xbox Series X Galaxy Black 2TB Edition so yeah, I definitely would have bought it. Iām also buying the PS5 Pro next week once I trade in the launch model XSX and PS5.
that community alwasy takes an L as far as Iām concerned.
Yeah trade ins are great. I probably would have done that too with XSX for a Pro model.
In other news, this is rather cool. Playing as Geralt in DA.
Nope. A midgen with the same miniscule upgrades as the 5Pro isnt worth an extra $250 (digital Base to digital Pro comparison).
Yeah, Iām not at all interested in a mid-gen upgrade. I donāt see the point even a little bit. I donāt care about frame rates, I donāt care about ray tracing, or load times, or 8k, any of that stuff. None of that make games better.
If I buy anything between now and when the next-gen Xbox is out, itās a portable device of some kind. Be that an Xbox or the next Rog Ally.
The difference is 350 fuckinā euros here for the Proā¦which is laughable. lol
As Jon said many times in the podcasts the vast majority of games look great and I agree that we donāt need the neverending chase for more and more fidelity. A good game is a good game even if itās 480p/30fps and a mediocre/boring game will still be a mediocre game even at 4k/120fps w/ RT and all the bells and whistles on.
Yep. Iād even say I wouldnāt mind if they went backwards a bit if it meant more frequent releases. We got two Elder Scrolls in one generation during the 360 era. If reducing fidelity would mean that we could go back to something resembling that pace of development, Iād be all for it.
Do love when the Xbox store accidentally leaks the behind-the-scenes settings lol - apparently we have less than 775 years to take advantage of the Game Pass discount on Dragon Age: The Veilguard!
lol and to think that this generation was pitched that it was designed for ease of development & faster dev time honestly part of me wishes this gen wasnāt such a big technical upgrade (spec-wise) that devs and engines changed a lot of their ways from last-gen that many things got even more complex and time consuming and they lost some efficiency between the gens.
Something went off track in the Xbox One/PS4 generation. In retrospect, I would trade a return to Xbox 360 fidelity to go back to a world where 2 or 3 years was enough time to develop a substantial AAA game. (Of course, the double edged sword there is the extent to which those fast development times were enabled by crunch.)
As much as I want games to come faster, I already canāt keep up haha.
Yes I would have.
The extra 1TB storage is most of the extra cost tbh.
Ah man, I was hoping to get it in 2800 when Iāve cleared my backlog.
