I watch both and while wrestling wise, AEW is better, the booking, storylines, etc. aren’t even close to WWE’s level. Tony Khan signs everyone known to man and thinks that it will make a difference (it only does if it’s a major top tier name which hasn’t hasn’t happened in years) while so much talent gets wasted.
I am happy for one thing. Raw being on Netflix and AEW Dynamite/Collision/PPV’s being on HBO Max in 2025 is great since I can watch it all live. And I have Peacock for the WWE PPV’s.
He has been hiring too many veterans in which is ironic and somewhat goes against the old philosophy of the promotion. Now he got the new deal, he needs to get things straight going forward. There has been way too many excuses for whenever they don’t do well.
They tend not to do well because of his insanely bad booking. Tony is just not good at this thing at all. He should have hired a professional booker ages ago.
Yep, Legend of Mana was a really good game. Ahead of its time for sure with a very specific system of progression. I also began Trials of Mana and… wow I didn’t expect the game to look that great !
I don’t think they’d be talking about next gen consoles at the start of 2024 if they were planning to wait until 2030
I think the absolute latest they go without any new hardware is 2028
As for the consoles lasting that long, dude, people are still playing on XB1 and PS4, they absolutely will last that long, you may even still see ps4 games releasing after the next consoles release
As for the Pro, I think you’re overestimating how much stronger its going to be, especially for games that are CPU limited, not to mention consoles are already struggling as is at their current prices, asking people to spend an extra $200 for improvements most people will barely notice doesn’t seem like its gonna be a home run
Personally I’m expecting some form of hardware in 2026, likely their handheld and either their next premium hardware also launches alongside it or they save it for the year after or 2028
I got to say, WBD is having the worst year and sadly seems like they’re still getting rougher by the day. Suicide Squad game was a flop, lost NBA, debt keeps on growing, and now they have a box office bomb inbound. Sure, they got AEW new deal but the fact they took long tells me a lot of went on that probably left them no choice or rather don’t know how to make one. Sure, maybe it could go better than I fear, but time will tell next year.
