Ara and AOE: M retold are my most anticipated games this year…and both will be on gamepass!!
Didn’t you want a physical copy?
I read in an interview before from a xbox employee that black materials are also very expensive to design and produce when they release series S black 1TB version.
Is that so? I can believe it to be honest. Color coded materials often varies in price.
I don’t think it’s much expensive, although working with white plastic is easier because it doesn’t show imperfections as easily, while you have to design the black device in a way that hides these faults.
The issue with the black Series S is that it was designed as white, so it didn’t have the flexibility of the Series X that was designed having hiding these problems in mind.
looks like winning to me
I didn’t, but that little worm thing on the bottom right of the screen just popped up and started squealing.
Edit: this game so far is going differently because I can do enough damage to actually kill the enemies and level up much faster.
so apparatly pentiment runs at 60 fps on xbox and 120 fps on ps5. I just tested this and I think it is 120 on ps5 or at least my tv tells me it is.
120 Hz on the TV is not the same as the game actually running at 120 fps. This would happen with the Xbox version as well on the same TV.
Not me, haha.
I’m not about the physical copies anymore.
XBOX! WHY!!!
Okay then.
That’s tragic, Xbox players losing so much not being able to play Pentiment at 120 fps. Skill gap is huge.
I think this is the one
Fallout 76 is at #23 most played in USA. Not that I’m complaining but what happened to rose the popularity?
I’ve not played GOW/TLOU but I agree the combat is the weak point. Still enjoying it though and graphically it does look very good!
I think they’re currently running Fasnacht and a double XP weekend - that’s probably giving it a healthy bump.
XboxEra Community,
I’ve been debating this for a while, but I’ve come to the decision my time here has come to an end.
Over the years, seeing this site (and the podcast) evolve into what it is now has been amazing. Over the years I’ve met and befriended folks from various parts of the world and of differing backgrounds over the simple love of gaming.
To each and every one of you, thank you. Whether we’ve been talking for years or we only ran into each other in the last week, I appreciate the input and thoughts you all share. Whether we agreed or disagreed on any topic, know that your feedback was always something that I valued. I love discussing games with folks and I will continue to do so, just in less avenues.
Life has been busy and with that comes its own headaches, so I’ve got to balance my time, social life, and just general mental health to what best suits me. Unfortunately, that’s what led to this decision.
Thank you again for all the memories. Whether it was discussing potential future projects, throwing fellow forum members out a window, delving through our backlogs together, debating on a heated topic, or just general chit chat… just know I will remember it all fondly.
Best of luck to all of you and make sure to take care of yourselves.
Sad to hear, but you do need to look after yourself and your mental state. Don’t be afraid to return in the future if things in your life change or improve, it’s great having people like yourself on the forum.
Please don’t say “apparently” because one massive fanboy account doesn’t understand how anything works.
