XboxEra Community Hangout |OT12| The Dirty Dozen

It’s good Intel hasn’t given up yet, but they really need their next generation GPU hardware already that includes fixes and adjustments from what they learned.

Here’s a recent lengthy video going over the Intel ARC GPU offerings, namely they’re behind or on par with Nvidia 3060 / 4060 and some games like GTA-V and Starfield are still broken where performance is nowhere it should be.

A few months ago, we revisited Intel’s user-facing drivers (including Arc Control) to see how they’d improved over one year of patches. Now, we’re benchmarking the Intel Arc lineup in more depth to see how they compete with NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards in 2024. These Intel Arc GPU benchmarks include the A770, A750, A580, and A380 video cards vs. the RTX 4060, RX 6600 and 6600 XT, RX 7600, 7600 XT, and more. We’re seeking to answer whether Intel Arc is any good (yet), and specifically, how it competes in the value side of the market with AMD. Large parts of this video will be simple discussion about the interesting way this battle is playing out: Namely, with AMD and Intel fighting over the modern “low end” while NVIDIA leaves it relatively untouched with new parts.

Will elden ring DLC be eligible for game of the year?

Phantom Liberty was, in some categories. It might qualify it for on going game haha

I made a bet yesterday with a good friend of mine that Shadow of the Erdtree will be a nominee for the GOTY award, From is consistently releasing god-tier expansions since Artorias of the Abyss and this one looks to be the most ambitious (and the biggest in terms of content) they have ever done. So I’d say that yeah it has a chance of being nominated for GOTY and not just expansion/DLC of the year.

Now if only Phil and the dudes at Activision who worked with From on Sekiro would make a deal about a sequel…make it full on multiplatform day one on all platforms, I just want to play Sekiro 2. :stuck_out_tongue:

If it gets nominated for GOTY for the Keighleys or any award show for that matter, that they deserve zero recognition or relevancy whatsoever

If they make it a standalone SKU it probably would

Sure but I very much doubt it will, an expansion or DLC that requires a base game to function cannot be eligible for a GOTY, it simply doesn’t make sense but it’s clear from last years awards that logic and consistency is thrown out the window for favourites

“Xbox did it. We can too!”

But really, PSVR2 is doing way more harm than console speaking, so it’s good this game is going outside.

“Don’t worry, buddy. We won’t abandon you folks.”

Riot hasn’t put any games out on console, and they are a part of Xbox Game Pass in one of the bigger moves that Xbox made that people on here ignore (the GPU perks to unlock every hero in all of their pc/mobile games).
