Really bummed about this - I knew this was going to happen eventually when Facebook bought them and Sony passed on them due to a singular flop (after pumping out amazing titles for Sony on the PSP).

Sony has a long pattern of these kinds of ‘failed purchase test’ studios that eventually close, and just as long of one for studios they closed themselves. Of course, the media’s favorite punching bag takes all the hits and the publisher largely responsible for a lot of the “shit” elements of the industry get a pass ad nauseam. Makes total sense. Of course, it goes without saying that Facebook absolutely sucks just as much, if not more.

I can really see them selling off some unexpected assets soon.
It is rumored that gaming divisions are planned to go on sale. Forgot where it was said but I believe it’s from a general news outlet rather gaming site.

Yeah I have seen various accounts on that, some suggesting they are just looking for investment, whereas others suggesting they are willing to sell the lot.
Personally I think they would be willing to sell off NetherRealm with the MK IP.
The others are quite tricky without their respective IP’s.
Suicide squad runs rough on PC. You change the upscale method and change the framrate but it still sticks to the previous frame rate action
Changing the resolution down from 4k also didnt help and the framrate fluctuates all over the place.
Played an hour even with the horrible fluctuating frame rate and my god the world was bland and enemies are bland . The graphics just felt washed out and enemy design and encounters were also just mindless.
Movement felt good and voice acting was good but rest of the game was mediocre.
Looks like Borderlands wants to challenge not Sonic or Mario, but Resident Evil. Lovely…
I think they would sell they are tanking bad. Are the investors even seeing any path to profitability.
