I definitely intend to check that out. But it’s been delayed several times now, so I’m going with “wait and see” if this truly releases this year.
As for Indiana Jones, with Avowed moving into 2025 it should mean that’s a lock for this year. Because if it wasn’t, but Avowed IS ready it would make no sense to decide to do that.
It’s more to do with how Xbox first party wise had a rather dry first half until Hellblade 2 came out. And it looked like the last months would be full of first party, including Avowed. At least that is how it was for me. It’s not a super big deal though.
True, but was hoping that had come to an end this year. I think the expectation for this was November, right? I believe it was event said or written by themselves and then got removed. So January isn’t too bad. Hope they see it that way too, much further away is not necessary. Really want to play this.
You can always play some of the major non Game Pass games like Dragon Age, Assassin’s Creed, and whatever else massive number of games that are coming out.
Man what is going on over there. If I’m an exec at Bungie, my company is in dire straits and I need to choose between betting the farm on either Destiny 3 or an extraction shooter… I’m not choosing the extraction shooter.
I’m more than fine with Avowed in early 2025. If Game Pass right now is how it is gonna be in the end of the year, there will too many games to play by then.
It’s like they don’t know where to go after Destiny 2. They need to do something new and fresh or people will see it as Destiny 2.5. It needs a big budget and development time to get people back which Sony probably don’t want to risk right now anyway.
I loved Destiny 2. Played so much of it that I got to the point where it was enough for me, until the next chapter. I’ll be there for D3 with bells on.
