Avowed doesn’t have an official release date beyond the leak via their site, so it really can’t be called a delay if they didn’t commit to it.

When was the last game Obsidian truly fumbled ? Alpha Protocol for all it’s problem was a fun game and Dungeon Siege 3 was not bad at all.
And it helps that Dragon Age is coming this year.
Btw go play Pillars of Eternity. Avowed takes place few years after PoE2.
Can’t say I’m that happy about it. I mean sure, Game Pass will have a good amount of games but personally I’ll play through the CoD story, maybe some online and that’ll be it, I don’t care for Flight Sim, Stalker 2 at the moment is still planned for late this year, but it’s definitely not a given. What else is there?

That’s true. And who knows what they announce at GC for Game Pass. And possibly TGS if they attend it. It’s definitely not the end of the world, but hopefully it’s January, start the year strong.
If you need a GP RPG maybe Stalker 2 would be a good alternative.
It never made sense to release it during the crowded fall release period. It makes more sense to release Q1 and face less competition

Agreed. Xbox have taken lots of flack in this forum in the past for not staggering their releases more, so now that they are I would think people would be happy.
