Sony: How did you get so much profit?
Capcom: PC, dude
And so, plan has changed.

The 500 million MAU are not coming from consoles but all platforms and zi doubt Sony or Nintendo is contributing hugely to that seeing as PlayStation is hovering just above 200 million MAU. I would guess most of this MAU might be coming from PC and Mobile. The business has changed and I donāt really see Sonyās dominance anymore. Besides I think when Xbox goes with the PC hybrid console next gen things will come into better view.
Yeah, its most likely a mix between candy crush and other king games, blizzard games, cod, and minecraft. I donāt think xbox games would account for that much MAU. Still crazy when you think about what Microsoft owns, but those numbers are more for shareholders and less for xbox users.
They are literally users, and it means the business is healthy because MAUs are the main growth area they care about.
Well thatās not on my bingo card on crossovers
Itās exactly what PS is now going for as well.
Iād say itās for the whole of Xbox considering theyāre gearing up for Mobile and the rumored NextGen console is billed as a handheld and hybrid. I wonāt be surprised if they take Halo, Gears, Forza and SOT to mobile.
Agreed.
Well people have been trying for years now

A powerful under the box Xbox that can access the Windows Kernel for game stores/games and a handheld that runs Series S profiles is a great combo that will sell well enough to keep the business going for a long time. Being āthird placeā in this gaming economy is 6 billion a quarter? Theyāre not going anywhere.
Yeah, I guess if console / ecosystem folks arenāt happy with the benefits (cloud saves, GamePass, Play Anywhere) then I get them being upset. Especially when GamePass got a price increase.
But alsoā¦it shouldnāt be a surprise at this point. And I would rather bigger, better, more expensive games that are multiplat and Day 1 GamePass than an exclusive to post about. ETA: my personal preference. Everyone can have their own preference and Iām not trying to ding anyone!
Genuinely curious, but is it healthy for the xbox console? I am curious to see what their next gen plans are because they have access to a lot of users, and will be interesting to see how they position their console. I donāt think theyāre exiting console industry like some are thinking because you still donāt want to give up 30% cut on mtx and software and bulk of gamepass subs are console users
Ooooo Iāve not had a see-through controller since the SNES, where Home Alone 2 made me lose my temper as a kid and smash it on my desk.
(Think Iāve mentioned, I loved it so much I carried on using it despite it shocking me regularly).
So will be very tempted by this - Iām guessing weāre not getting any new controller tech until next generation so not too worried about getting it then a new one be announced nowā¦

Iāll be honest, Iām surprised the remaster did happen. I mean without giving away, the ending screams āWonāt fly in todayās worldā though maybe Iām overthinking. Anyway, shame. Liked it a lot when it first released.
Me too, especially considering that the game didnāt age horribly. Now, whether the game is BC, Iām not sure. A port of the original would have sufficed if not.

Rolling some staff working on a new Sci fi action game into a new PlayStation Studio. Guess that one will be exclusive.
