It by no means excuse Microsoft on the layoff, but for those who actually believe if ABK remains independent would lead to no layoff, this is their wake up call.

- Nvidia is now worth the same as the whole Chinese stock market, Bank of America chief investment strategist Michael Hartnett pointed out in a new note.
- The companyâs market cap has hit $1.7 trillion, the same as all Chinese companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- Nvidiaâs stock soared 239% in 2023 and is up 41% in 2024, through Thursday.
They are now competing with the big boys while AMD was completely left in the dust.

Theyâve actually more than tripled in stock value since the ARM acquisition was terminated. AI has been the main driver Iâm sure.

Whelp. I donât recommend playing FOAMSTARSâs mission mode. Just a bunch of slow wave based missions with unskippable dialogue scenes.
Iâve only played one competitive match. Was quite chaotic, but a bit of fun. Iâll come back for that at least.

wow everything they were talking on the podcast about with the next gen consoles/handhelds was really interesting. the next gen could really be the most interesting yet and im legit excited for it if it is what I think it is.

pretty much what people are saying switch 2 weakest steamdeck and other pc handhelds ps handheld xbox handheld hybrid xbox main box same power as handheld. ps6 PC most powerful
lots of options but in terms of graphics i dont think its gonna be a huge leap. its gonna be about the little things like better lighting higher frames etc. its just cool to see handhelds/hybrids get more love. Be nice to have an option that isnt switch. Iv always wanted another sony handheld and if xbox makes one I think it will be a great move.

That would be a huge shame, insofar as Suicide Squad. I just rolled credits, and am still looking for something to hate about the game. It does far more right than it does wrong, and I wish the weird hate zeitgeist that swirled around it since itsâ gameplay debut hadnât completely killed the entire gameâs launch. Thereâs a good (if repetitive) skeleton here, and the story-telling is actually pretty damned good.

Yeah I saw that about console and handheld being same power, not sure I like the sound of that though. Please make the console the most powerful it can be, hope they donât sacrifice that. Personally idgaf about handhelds, just make a great and powerful home console.

Agree, sounds terrible lol. If the console and portable are the same specs then next gen will be less powerful than current gen lol. The only way this works is if the handheld has a much smaller internal GPU and eGPU in dock or they disable the hell out of the GPU when in portable mode.

I can see MS go the way Series consoles are now, a traditional more powerful box and a smaller box like Series S but hybrid next time around. This would be the best case scenario though the negative is that they will go from devs having to optimize two different profiles for games now to three different profiles (full power bigger box, smaller box docked and portable) next generationâŚand we know developers are not happy with having to optimize two profiles let alone three.
Itâs too early to predict any of that at the moment IMO, plans change and we are still waiting for the âbusiness eventâ.

Consoles are becoming more and more like PCâs and I donât see PC games looking bad because they need to support the GTX1050 while also supporting the RTX4090.
Switch doesnât get a ton of games that hit the high end consoles though.
There is no expectation or requirement of reasonable performance on PC though. If the game runs at 15 fps it runs at 15 fps.

Switch is ancient in tech compared to what we have now, even at launch it was a joke
I can see Switch 2 being much better in terms of what it will be able to play on a reasonable level for the next 5-10 years compared to what the switch could last/this gen
I imagine it will be the same for this rumored Xbox handheld which would no doubt be much more powerful than whatever Nintendo are going to do and if both Nintendo and Xbox are going down this route, what are devs going to do, only target Playstation going forward because of itâs power?
Not with modern budgets they wonât, theyâll see all those Switch 2âs, Deck/deck 2âs and Xbox Portables in the market and target the lowest spec and work up, not the other way around
