Was quite the average show to be honest, could be that devs were not ready to show their big stuff this year though so hard to say and MS has their own show and Ubisoft as well. Surprised Square didnāt show their cards even though some stuff is rumoured so maybe MS was able to pull some strings like they have done in the last few years with Sega, who knows!
At least Geoff was still able to fill 2 hours of content on stream and it was at around 600k concurrent on YouTube at one point so thatās also really good numbers Iād say.
I think Xbox stole all the goods this time around.

Welp, after Game Fest, Day of the Devs, and Devolverā¦its up to MS to save this whole thing.
A lot of the indie content is all starting to bleed together.

Doesnāt Game Fest have like stuff to do aside from the theater show?
They broadcast (restream?) other content. Day of the Devs was right after the live show. Devolver was after that. And stuff mostly looked fine, but nothing stood out.
And they, I think, have some in person stuff, but its mostly just playing things they showed that are there.
I got the impression from one of the articles that Avowed and Indiana Jones would be available to play at SGF (maybe behind closed doors?) with an embargo lifting on Monday?
My understanding was that MS had their own hands-on stuff separate from SGF, but I may have just misunderstood.

Thereās hands-on previews coming Monday for both games.

They are always weird. That is their thing.
The weird is fine with me as long as there is content to back it up. This had almost nothing.
Many people are crying for missing E3. I hope theyāre not the same folks that wanted it gone because if so, you reap what you sow.

Was never a fan of E3 going away. I donāt want to start something, but I will. I think that sentiment mainly happened due to Sony pulling out, so a certain group was trying to gaslight people that E3 is useless and should go away.
