That’s quite a lot probably rack up close to 20 or more million dollars for 2hours and no musical bands to pay this year. I wonder how much the venue cost and also will there be any celebrity this year.

Just remember, this is the biggest time of year for making ad money on the internet when it comes to gaming. Anything you hear/read that says “considering” or “planning” means nothing. Until the company in question itself directly states that something is happening it’s all akin to executive speak. Sound like you’re saying a lot without actually committing to anything at all.

Oh.

I remember CoD was on SGF last year. Geoff must be glaring hard at Xbox this year.

Whoops.

One part about the next Dragon Age that “scares” me is that it was a GaaS at first, even though it was announced as SP focused. Now, did BioWare completely go back to the drawing board, made a new game, or was this game in the middle of development with GaaS elements and then these elements were removed and made into a SP game? Bit like Crimson Desert in that way.

That and the fact I can’t remember when the last truly great game by them was.

I dread the new camera angle if they’re going to keep it.

From the leaked gameplay a while ago you mean?

It still could be a GaaS like Assassin’s Creed. Like getting missions to farm for better equipment.

The last great game was probably DA:I with one terrible DLC, one mid DLC and one great DLC.

We re almost there guys feels like Christmas

It’s super awesome Xbox still plans and airs a massive show around what previously was E3. Gamers not so young can relate to those feelings and excitement. Feels nice.

At first I loved DA:I, walking around in The Hinterlands and exploring, until I realized there really wasn’t much of interest there, and after that area it started to lose me. Something was missing.

I get it. Empty open world, 99% fetch quests and a horse that doesn’t provide anything.

But I really like the combat. Story and the cast are great as well especially when you meet characters from the past games like Hawke or Leliana. And the Trespasser DLC is worth it and I think a must play for Dragon Age 4.

It feels like Christmas in a year when Santa is crazy rich and is about to drop hundreds of packages right into your house.

Yeah, I’m really getting hyped up right now.

Of course one slot is always free and extra special reserved for Kojima

The proceeds of SGF are used by Geoff to pay Kojima to be on his show!

If the Xbox showcase wasn’t a thing this week it would’ve been a dreadful “E3” period…thank god we still have that and it brings some positive energy and excitement for some actual freakin’ videogames to the utterly toxic/miserable (the community side of things) and depressing (the business side of things with the lay-offs e.t.c.) gaming landscape of 2024.

Ok, that got a laugh out of me.
