Ok, so he should go via mobile or pc? I’ll suggest that to him.
Yeah it’s quite an annoying thing.

Any web browser should work.

As always take with a grain of salt…
I would be very, very ok with this. It’s all about big screen gaming for me, docked.
Bro! What are the odds? Great minds think alike.
Color me suspicious, but hopeful
Yup. That’s why I hope Nintendo reveals it this year, tired of all the rumors and waiting, lol.
It’s kinda crazy that hardware between a PS4 Pro and XSS isn’t a given and has to be considered “too good to be true” but it’s Nintendo, plus that they just care too much about the hybrid thing, so with that in mind…it would be surprisingly nice.
Not enough for me to have it become a system I will buy multiplatform games for, but for it’s exclusives, absolutely.
How dare you bring a non-bad news? I ought to ban you if I was a mod.
I could believe some of it. However, I don’t understand how a dock with a fan takes a mobile handheld from PS4 level to PS4 Pro, that does not compute with me. Like, basically a steamdeck docked would become an rtx 3070 or something when docked (I’m exaggerating here obviously). I feel like people are setting themselves for disappointment, although I do feel like it’ll be an awesome little system.
AI-powered checkerboarding.
Just means they are down clocking the hell out of it when running on batteries.

Sony, don’t be a hog. Let Microsoft be the only one today…
You don’t need a dock for DLSS though, so it still doesn’t make any sense.
The graphical power difference of the switch in handheld and docked is around factor 2. Nintendo will do a similar thing with the Switch 2, it runs heavily downclocked in handheld mode to save battery life and full gas in the dock with the fan potentially on blast.
The GPU part in the Steam Deck is roughly on par with PS4 so a cheap NVidia chip should to the trick in the next Switch with better battery life.
PS4 Pro though is 3x the power of PS4, so a lot more than a factor of 2. OG Switch is indeed around twice when docked, maybe tech has jumped that much I guess.
I’m curious if they’ll run the Super Nintendo Switch at 64bit memory width when in handheld mode and only using 128bit width when docked for battery savings. That might provide more of a boost when removing that bottleneck.
I Yakuza 5. I happy. I go social media. I confuse.
