Letā€™s just see and play AC Red first though, sheesh, lol.

Agreed.

In fairness though, itā€™s not Ubisoft telling us anything. Canā€™t wait to see Red though!!

Ever since playing Pentiment thatā€™s set in Germany in that period, Iā€™ve been intrigued by games set around then like Kingdom Come Deliverance.

Sounds like this might be another one, and quite different to other AC settings so Iā€™m intrigued

Same here. Been wanting AC to go to Japan for so many years now, finally itā€™s happening. I donā€™t have a PS5 yet and thus I didnā€™t play GoT either. I believe it was Tom Henderson that said the engine got a nice upgrade, the combat, parkour and animation systems all got overhauled as well he said. It sounds good, letā€™s see it. Undoubtedly weā€™ll see a good deal at Ubi Forward.

Honestly though how well would a limited edition nuka cola partnership do right nowā€¦

Really would have worked for Coke and Bethesda Iā€™d think. Collect caps for something.

Is that Alone in the Dark ?

Iā€™m concerned about the sales of both AitD and Banishers: GoNE. I bought both at launch but I suspect the sales must have been abysmal, sadlyā€¦

Tsushima was awesome and my 2020 game of the year but I donā€™t think Assassinā€™s Creed Red will be that similar outside of the location. Time period will most likely be different which will set it apart right off the bat.

I loved the combat, free climbing parkour and animations in Origins/Odyssey so im hoping that they core aspects donā€™t change that much. Most of all, I hope they keep the free climbing intact because every open world game I have played since Origins/Odyssey all have one major negative in common and thatā€™s that they donā€™t allow you to free climb. You have to look for grappling hook spots or ledges or certain spots to climb up/down and itā€™s very aggravating and frustrating because once youā€™re used to being able to free climb in an open world game, thatā€™s it, it needs to be in every single one of them and I donā€™t care if it removes some of the realism because im playing a game and I prefer the quality of life convenience that free climbing provides.

With that said, I do love AC for the most part so just have to wait and see.

Truly sad but sales in general for games have been down. Other than Hell divers and Palworld I havenā€™t heard any game doing big numbers.

Honestly too many games and too much competition for peopleā€™s time, not forget people have less money to spend.

I think she worked on Alone in the Dark.

Yeah I kinda worry for a lot of games in the future

With many of the biggest games being F2P or evergreen games like Minecraft or Roblox it feels like many games are going to struggle, the industry has changed massively over the last 5-10 years

People want those big huge 200m games but they require so many sales and time to make that itā€™s not sustainable and then the AA type ones people ignore because they arenā€™t ā€œAAAā€ graphic monsters

In a way it seems like the ones that thrive the most are indies and the occasional game that blows up out of jowhere like Palworld or HD2 like you said above

She did. First and last game under the same umbrella.
