Nevermind I take back what I said. Apparently they charge you if you want to edit your character and its performance is far worse than I expected I tend to ignore most problems unless they are VERY noticeable. Fuck that.

Is there other ābigā game coming in the next 3 months? The only recognizable name that came to my mind is Hellblade 2 but I dont expect it to be big.
To the ace attorney fans in here, do i need to play the great ace attorney Chronicles in order to understand Apolloās Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy or can i skip it?

Unfortunately Microsoft are far from in the clear. Supposedly the DOJ and FTC are deciding which of them will go after them for the investment in OpenAI. From what Iāve read Iām not sure why, OpenAI can sell their products to whoever they want and Microsoft canāt effect company decisions with even their board member being just an observer but the US government is still coming for the deal. Itās probably what spurred the big investment into Mistral and the recent news of them having a large amount of the staff from Inflection AI moving over to take over Microsoft AI.

Chronicles are a spin-off taking place in the past, and were originally released after the games from Apollo Justice trilogy. You should play Phoenix Wright trilogy, though.

Isnāt all of this also doable with in-game currency? Capcom also did that with DMC5 which was not a problem at all since the game gave you A LOT of orbs and REmake 4 had exclusive upgrade tickets (that many probably bought if the achievement hunting sites/guides are an indication) to get all achievements/platinum trophy the easy way. Both games are balanced just fine without any of this crap and thatās the most important thing.
It sucks but as long as the games are balanced just fine without the cheats itās no problem IMO, I guess gamers voted with their wallets in previous Capcom games so Capcom continues to add them since gamers buy them.

Iād say this is gamers having selective outrage again but it seems more than that and the type of mtx doesnāt cut it , because as soon as you monetize a basic gameplay feature thatās just a no-go.

I donāt know if itās ironic, but I do recall people praying for everyone in the world to notice gaming as a entity to be considered important, especially the whole debate about art. Well, in a way, you got your wish but in a hefty price (no pun intended).
Moral: be careful what you wish for.
I really miss the days of cheat codes lol, itās the one bit I prefer about PC gaming as you can run a trainer or console cheat.
Yes the big narrative epics you play through normally, but something like GTA it was always fun to sometimes give all the pedestrians weapons, put them into riot mode and then watch the chaos ensueā¦
Too often now gaming is seen as super serious by some people, when itās meant to be fun!
What people consider fun is also very subjective though. It canāt be relugated to a one size fits all thing, like I find most puzzle games to be boring but people out there adore them.
Everything is in game except for tent that is 2Kg lighter that one obtainable in-game.
They gave us a PDF with all of the microtransactions listed, I looked at it saw that it was the same bunch of stuff thatās just obtainable in game for the most part as all their other games and it didnāt bother me

Yeah I understand that - Iām the opposite, Iāve loved Escape Academy, Myst, Maquette and more.
What I more mean is that while obviously cheating in multiplayer is beyond the pale, fun cheats or options in games can be quite fun.
Whether itās causing chaos in GTA, big head mode in Goldeneye or getting the skull that does the birthday confetti when you headshot a grunt in Halo 3, some of the cheats can be a great way to extend the lifespan of the game after the initial playthrough and let the player have some fun.
I still get really into the epic storylines on some games, becoming the Chief, Commander Shepherd of other saviour of the world / universe or just a character in a cool story - and they can feel serious but theyāre also fun, agreed.
I just mean that on sandbox-style games, or those where itās one-and-done, often cheat codes / cheat items used to add a lot of fun - while Iāll never forget loving the story of MGS, Iāll also never forget the fun I had screwing with the guards etc. after playing through twice to unlock the invisibility and bandana
