The first AI was awesome. Have yet to check out the second one. I kept hoping it would come to Game Pass but still hasn’t happened. Never say never I guess, because we got Tales of Arise after all.

I only played Bloodborne for 10 hours or so which was good but it’s not the difficulty that’s my biggest issue, it’s the fact that when you die, you lose whatever you gained and then have to go back to reclaim it. It’s also why I don’t like rogue likes. I would love to be able to play through Returnal since I love Housemarque and can deal with starting the level over since that’s how Alienation was setup but losing what I gained before hand completely turns me off to the game.
I did play and complete Nioh on PS4 but it’s with a massive caveat. I used PS4 Save Wizard and literally didn’t die until the end of the game. LOL. Only reason I played Nioh is because I wanted a samurai game to play while waiting for Tsushima.
Steel Rising for example was perfect for me because it gives you four accessibility options and I kept three at default but the one I turned off was me losing “essence” which is basically the souls that you use to upgrade your character. I can deal with slow paced defensive combat, respawning enemies and difficulty but for me, the deal breaker is losing my gear, currency, etc. when dying.
As for Ronin, I haven’t seen or read that you lose anything when dying but im not 100% sure on that. Will know for sure as that’s my next locked rental from GameFly so I should be playing in early April.

My brother told me that if you set your Netflix display language to English (from our standard Dutch) you will see content you wouldn’t see with Dutch selected.
And sure enough, One Piece is not on my app when I have Dutch selected, but I DO see it when English is selected. Wtf? I mean it’s not like I’m using a different DNS here.

I somewhat wish they<d have a special mode for people who just really wanna enjoy the world and the story in those games. The From Software art style and stories are so well done that you just want to lose yourself in those worlds for hours but the difficulty and frustration of losing everything can indeed be too much for others. Sometimes you also have so much on your plate that you wanna be able to finish it and go onto something else.
I actually can stand losing everything but at the same time, as an adult with so much to do that I have to sleep 5 hours a night in order to be able to enjoy some me time, it does piss me off having to waste time on stuff like that that doesn’t really add much to the game except for that risk/reward I guess in some cases, so I totally understand you on that point!

Microsoft:
I think it’s the Tensor cores that give it DLSS upscaling and it may be reasonable to think that they will consider having it so they can have games run at lower resolution at a decent performance. This way they don’t need a beefy GPU and can keep the price and power usage low.
I do agree that we won’t see much for RT.
