I agree with you. The only difference between me and others is that I do count Stellar Blade, Ronin, Helldivers 2 as first party games but the studios are third party. But the games themselves are. Same as how I see Contraband or Towerborne. First party games but third party studios.
For 2024, I have Ronin and Blade for PlayStation 5 along with Hellblade 2, Indiana Jones, Avowed and Towerborne for Xbox Series X. A packed 2024. First half is PlayStation 5 heavy while second half more times than not will be Xbox Series heavy.
Either way, my 2024 is starting to take shape. From third party multi-platform games like Banishers and Outcast to PlayStation 5 console exclusives in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Rise of the Ronin and Stellar Blade with Microsoftās first party game Hellblade 2 in the first half with Black Myth Wukong, Stalker 2, Space Marine 2 in the second half along with Avowed, Towerborne, Indiana Jones as well as other games like Star Wars Outlaws and AC 2024, oh man, my year is looking better than 2023 for me on paper. Hopefully, it goes that way. Hehe.
Overall, 2024 is another packed and stacked year, at least for me.
I scratched Ronin off of my list, it looks meh. I still have Stellar Ass on my list though, looks like there might only be one PS game this year too for me.

Yeah, hopefully Larian gets the rights and makes an rpg set in Waterdeep. Thatās one major dnd location that has been woefully underutilized in videogames.
I think Ronin looks great but more importantly, I loved Nioh and Team Ninja is a great development studio. Iām expecting Ronin to be in the mid to high 80ās on Open Critic and be one hell of a game. Best of all, it has difficulty levels which is great for me as im not good in souls type games.
Stellar Ass??? Hahaha. I like that. Stellar Blade looks awesome. I was expecting a DMC/Bayonetta type game but itās more like a Nier Automata type game. GreedFall 2 is also on my list.
Thankfully, my backlog consists of several DLC/expansions and two base games as im trying to keep that shit to single digits.
Tbh Iām a little surprised there hasnāt been much of a backlash to Stellar Bladeās obvious horniness. I feel like there was a recent period where any game with some horniness or revealing outfits was getting attacked all over Twitter and certain message boards. I wonder if thatās not really foremost in peopleās minds anymore.
