Looks great but is basically Far Cry set in the world of Avatar which is great for me personally as I love the two Avatar movies and im a huge Far Cry guy. However, I do hope Avatar is more like Far Cry 3/4/5 instead of New Dawn/6 because the last two had health bars, levels, etc. It looks like it’s Far Cry 3/4/5 but it could look that way because there’s no HUD during the trailer.

Well besides PC/Xbox, I might throw this grenade and say that only 3 months after launch is enough time for them to announce it for Switch 2 before it releases and have it on there as a combo pack with FF7R-1 (and available separate) somewhere in the launch year. Massive second wind for the first game there too.
I will also say that FF7R-3 might outright just not be PS exclusive if this is what it’s whittled down to. Then the “problem” of MS getting the games “too early” thus serving as advertisements for PS timed exclusives is no longer a thing. I’d even say it’d be fine if MS were to get FF7R-1 now because 3 months exclusive is nothing.
I’m not too invested in what happens though, as I always say FF is not anywhere on games I really want to see get ported lol.

I liked Far Cry 5 a lot but after that New Dawn, 6, and AC Valhalla were so awful to me I hated the sight of Ubisoft in my TV screen. I’m slightly hopeful about the upcoming games but we’ll see.
How does Helldivers 2 look?

Knowing Sony they could’ve literally had some devilish deal there where they retain some kind of right of first refusal that SE can’t go against… not forever, but maybe until sufficient time to secure the FF IP as almost a 1st party title.

Haha, I am not one to just assume the worst. There’s already talk about them demoing FF7RE on the Switch 2. If Sony is worried they should be worried about the Switch lol.

Far Cry 5/6 and Valhalla were all disappointing too me but based on how I rate the games I complete, all three were an 8.0/10 overall. New Dawn was a 7.0/10. Great gunplay, like the world and it being post apocalyptic but hated the story/characters/silent protagonist and most of all the RPG elements.
Thus far this generation, Ubisoft isn’t at the level for me personally that they were at the end of last generation. They nailed Origins/Odyssey/Division 2 for me where as for this generation, Immortals Fenyx Rising is the best Ubisoft game thus far. Disappointed that they cancelled the sequel but im not surprised.
I am expecting Mirage to be better than Valhalla but not at the level of Origins/Odyssey. Avatar if done like Far Cry 3/4/5 could be really good because of the world of Avatar. But we’ll see. The main Ubisoft games im hyped for is Star Wars Outlaws which looks great and with the rumors/leaks for AC 2024 where it’s supposed to have two protagonists set in ancient Chine sounds amazing if true.
They seem to be all in for the show next week so fingers crossed we get a few surprises.

Last year games are out already (except Chronicles), so we’ll see what batch they got in store.

We live in a world now where Microsoft has the better events and don’t get trashed on every time 
I think we’re about to have a great TGS show as well, remember guys Microsoft somehow had more JP content at their show which was AFTER a Sony showcase… meaning Capcom + Atlus avoided going to Sony’s show and went to the Xbox show which would’ve been crazy to say just a few years ago, we could get something spicy.
