I read the article that Warren posted and it’s such a horrid change and clearly shows just how shitty Apple are, pretty much hoping that the EU regulators are stupid, they are opening the store up but making it completely untenable for anyone in it, I can only hope that the EU see’s straight through them and goes in on them even harder for trying to be deceptive
It’s no surprise Phil and Sarah are against this, it would completely kill the MS store before it even launches, MS and every other big company are going to be doing some serious communication with the regulators to stop this

You mean released, and a lot of fun? Early access is local midnight, so it’s been out since like 6am EST yesterday. 7 or so hours in and I’m having a blast. Just need to see how it holds up.

It’s great that’s It’s fun but I’m tired of my favorite fictional character being crap on for the last

Problem is this could take a long time to fight in courts. I don’t see why don’t this companies just move off IOS. If no one is building their market on iPhone all this nonsense won’t be happening.
This could greatly delay their store plans. The way I see focus on building your store on android. This might also affect their plans of supporting more platforms. They might need to focus more on consoles now.
assuming timelines haven’t changed on the new controller i might buy it and if the 2tb comes with a external disk drive i might buy that too

Sadly they got 3 million views on that post. Videogame companies need to publicly denounce IGN. How many bad faith negative narratives can the industry withstand? IGN is hurting my favorite hobby videogames, I wish the companies would learn to stand up for themselves. Bullies need to be called out and shamed for their behavior.

It’s probably just a limited edition controller like the rumoured Elden Ring one. I cant imagine it will be anything too exciting.
