Thanks everybody for your answers/votes, I think I will play Automata first.
I cant stomach dated structure/design, so I will start with the generally regarded better game. I may then play Replicant if I really am into the vibes, I would say from trailers I may even prefer its aesthetic vs Automata’s.

We need shorter queues, better resolutions, and virtualised PC games on console with KBM support. That’d be killer.
Yeah, XCloud is the worst of the game streaming service I’ve experienced. Unsure what happened but it’s fallen behind all services I’ve tried. It’s not ready for primetime imo
They stopped investing during ABK as part of their efforts to appear weak, knowing that Cloud would be a sticking point with regulators.

There’s no confirmation of anything like that is there? Seems like it’s a bit of a stretch.
I don’t think there’s any proof but xcloud started having more and more issues around the time that they were having talks with the regulators about cloud gaming and ABK’s impact on it
Maybe just a coincidence, maybe not but if they are starting to push it again after finally getting ABK done then I think it’s fair to say ABK had some impact on them improving the service, one way or another
I just find it very unlikely any company would do something like that. I have a feeling if any information about that were ever leaked they would possibly be open to a class action from existing users.
Fair, it use to be brilliant. Now it’s fallen way behind the competition.
Many services are now offering 4K60 and Xbox is still stuck at 1080p. The queue times put me off using it entirely now too.
