The problem with games like Palworld is being very successful at the beginning and not continuing with this route and being forgotten after weeks. Very few games can and have the ability to remain constant and when you have a lot of competition it becomes even more complicated. Minecraft was not the popular game for about two-three years when PUGB and Fortnite arrived, even weeks ago Lego Fortnite was the new thing and now well… it seems not very active. That is why games like Forza Horizon, Sea of Thieves, ESO, Fallout 76 and obviously Minecraft continue to be relevant despite so many years, demonstrating the strength and importance of being constant. I hope State of Decay 3 follows this same fate.

Accidentally stumbled the echo chamber for Pokémon fans bashing PalWorld. It appears they now learned about Craftopia being BotW clone. Funny that one didn’t catch on as nearly as this game. Anyway, as a spectator, devilish in me is saying “This is fun.”
I got to say, I think Pokemon fans are about to challenge the crown for the most toxic fanbase this year. 2024 is wild.

I know Serebii is always quick to rally the troops at OtherEra whenever anything tries to get a little piece of the Pokemon pie. They did the same thing when Temtem released.

Not the only ones freaking out about it. There’s a whole discourse on Twitter about the game and AI. The Devs made a game called AI: art imposter and it’s led to people stating the game is full of AI Pokémon ripoffs. My timeline yesterday was full of artists and random commentators complaining that this will only make AI generated art/content even more prevalent and moaning about gamers not caring for whatever reason. It’s crazy people just can’t be happy for the breakout success of a small game. Glad the head of Arkane Lyon, dinga Bakaba came out in defense of the studio:

Not trying to put a damper on things but remember how huge Fall Guys and MultiVersus were at the beginning. Mediatonic was reportedly hit hard by layoffs recently, which makes you wonder if Epic regrets acquiring them? 
There is probably still plenty of people playing but you very rarely hear much about Fall Guys anymore.
MultiVersus went from 20 million players to shutting down because of how low the player count dropped to. 
My point is really just that Microsoft will be weary about chasing the latest trend.

I believe they’re doing a relaunch of that game this year, not shut down forever.

The Gyro is not yet confirmed, the document states accelerometer which personally I can’t see Xbox implementing without Gyro.

The battery pack would be a good idea to make standard, however I’ve been using a third party battery pack and dock since I brought my Series X anyway.
