XboxEra Community Hangout |OT11| It Goes To 11!

Thanks, I didn’t realise there were two options.

I hope it isn’t a half featured version as already the ‘full featured’ version is already lacking a few things.

For example:

  • Gyro support (it only has a accelerometer).
  • Hall effect joysticks
  • Back paddles (these should be standard)
  • Microphone

I’m sure some may also suggest it should come with adaptive triggers and a trackpad too but I hope they don’t.

Your base level is raised by doing the mission objectives from the palbox, however you cant learn to build the items needed till a higher player level sometimes. so raise your player level to learn the tech to make the structures that the palbox needs to level up.

Ah, I see. Yeah I’m very new to these kind of games, haha.

Also, what is the best way to keep the pals well fed? Right now I keep needing food a lot myself, and my Pals are getting hungry too. I have a plantation, but it’s quite a hassle to have to do this myself constantly, Pals can’t be set to do that work? I’ve now cooked ten berries and put it in the feed box, hopefully that keeps them well fed.

Yes, you can automate the plantations; unfortunatly you need 3 Pal abilities to do it, planting, watering and gathering. A pengullet or Teafant are north of where you start they can water crops. A Gumoss can plant seeds and a cattiva should be able to harvest it when they are grown and put the berries automatically into a food box.

Very good to know! Now I get why it says “watering”, I’m gonna look into these skills. Oh also, how does the pal workbench work? I don’t see recipes.

I’m gonna go capture some more Pals.

It’s addictive as hell. I don’t need this with my backlog and wanting to get back to Starfield. :joy:

lol yeah its very addicting, it has a lot of the best features of quite a few survival games.

The Pal workbench is used to make exclusive equipment for certain Pals, you probably saw some ? recipes in the technology tab, you will get access to learn those recipes when you have the appropiate Pals they go with. Probably the earliest i think is for a foxsparks there will be a harness you make so that when you have one summoned you can pick it up and wield it like a flamethrower.

So basically you have to capture a valid Pal, then purchase the crafting recipe in the technology tab, then you will be able to make it in the Pal workbench.

I would really like an option to just be able to move stuff. For example a house, but there doesn’t seem to be an option for that.

Sometimes these Pals are a bit dumb, chicken is starving but there are plenty berries in the feed box. Surely they like berries?

The downside of early access. Most of the time I fight bosses I’m just dodging attacks while my pals stand there not doing anything.

It’s probably a pathing thing for the hungry dummies, have you tried moving the feed box into the open and removing/re-adding the pal in question?

You CAN move stuff? How?

Also, how do you add a pal to the box? I just throw them at it, lmao.

Oh sorry, I meant breaking it down and building it back up, I’d love to be able to move stuff

Interacting with the main computer thing lets you move your pals from being assigned to your base to back into the box.

This has been my experience as well. I almost died in a dungeon because my Pals refused to do anything after their first attack and would just get super close to the enemy.

Also, just had my base completely wrecked by an invading band of “out of control fangirls” that were about 6 levels higher than me, lol.

I don’t follow, but the timing of this post could be interesting or coincidence.

Some people have been able to capture humans in Palworld, but how? I was fighting a thug today and when I pressed and held RB I didn’t really see anything indicating I can capture him.

it doesn’t, but it still works

Implying they dont fight until they are startled?

Its just a twitter account run by a social media manager. They wouldnt know anything.
