I don’t know why but many journalists really have bad attitude; as if being the most reliable leaker can excuse their personality. Also, this goes pass just gaming. I get it, we are all human, but we can be better than this as well.

When you think about it, it’s not that complicated, PS console sales and popularity are around it’s peak, in terms of mindshare it’s doing better than ever and when people think consoles they think PS, it’s the default
Even before this gen PS fans were accustomed to getting pretty much every major game out there, its why the ps3 was so bad for them, they went from being the total third party machine to…that
Then there’s the SEO/clickbait at play, which is largely effected because of PS popularity, PS being popular means people want to see Xbox fail when it’s getting games it’s not which means lots of articles, clickbait, seo farming
All these combine together to form a shitfest in discourse with the perpetually online

Seeing this catch pretty big flak and, yeah, I’m annoyed too. Don’t know who at Sega is leading this kind of charge but it feels so square peg in round hole.

This should arrive on mobile soon. The game is addictive as hell.
If they wanted to have streamer promote it, they should have tried to get Kson for it. As her Vtuber is based on the Yakuza series and she even has a roll as one of the hostesses in Gaiden and I think returning in Infinite Wealth.
Imo, everyone would have been more than happy with that.

Interesting theory. I’m not sure if anyone here remembers, but at one point, there was a talk of Remedy making an exclusive title for PS5 but that rumor died out. Nick believes it was Alan Wake 2 since they were hunting for publisher. If that was true and it ended up going to PS5 exclusive, that would have hurt.
Find it funny that Pokemon fans are now reacting to PalWorld and call it a ripoff. I get the design is familiar, it’s still apart by law. Hell, you have better shot to lawsuit with mobile commercial that literally used Pokemon designs and created its own Mega Evolution beyond Mega Evolution. I kid you not.

I don’t know about you, but this game is going to put pressure on multiple live service games coming up. This game is “free” on Xbox via Game Pass, but the fact the dev only talked about sales so far, who knows the player count active in total. Not to mention, Xbox most played section takes about 3 days to update.
I hate to give fuel to console war folks, but this is one way to give the likes of HD2, FS, and hell SS a hard time if fail to push boundary.
Microsoft should try to lock down Palworld if they can. Sony has Genshin and Honkai Star Rail and Palworld seems to be like it will be huge so I would try locking it down if it was up to me.

As I see it, while Pokémon made the idea popular they didn’t up with the concept of catching monsters and using them in a battle in a video game, that was Dragon Quest V.
This has “Simpsons Did It” vibe all over it.
