They are not even being slick about it anymore, they are so obvious in their douchery. Professionalism is zero over there.

It’s not even ignorant, they know exactly what they are doing. It’s just cheap and lazy work.

wow you have to watch the stream in 4k. in avowed ithought the injured solger was red for no reason and weird. in the 4k version you can see he has scales. the detail on hair and everything is much better.

I kind of feel like that’s legitimate news.

Sure, it would be if Senua’s Sacrifice was digital only (hint, in case you don’t seem to be aware Sacrifice was the first game). This isn’t the first time IGN hasn’t bothered to get the name right and, as others have commented, their post-show was maniacally obsessed with it being digital-only. It’s hardly the first game like it to be, and I guarantee MS knows exactly how little of an impact not having a physical release will have (because the overwhelming majority of us buy digital on Xbox).

Feels like NBA2K20 or was it 21 being announced as first $70 game. It was flanked beyond belief. Once PS brings theirs, it’s all good because price matches quality. I kid you not.

not trying to start anything here but does it say anywhere that indiana jones is actually exclusive? I see what its comming to but it doesn’t state exclusivity

ARA and Avowed are now my most anticipated games of this year!!

It’s not on PS channel. We can work our way up from there.

Bethesda confirmed it earlier today.

A Disney executive confirmed it was exclusive two weeks ago, let’s not start this ridiculous discussion again please…

If it said it would you believe it?

Technically not.

However, the messaging on the Xbox channel, Bethesda channel, website, paid reddit ads, Lucasfilm blog, Lucasfilm site and Lucasfilm channel all only say Xbox, PC and Game Pass. So I think, when coupled with statements from the Disney Games Chair and in the FTC case, it’s a pretty safe bet, especially since they went to the trouble of renegotiating the contract.

Apart from seemingly being so keen to post something negative (that they got the name of the game wrong), there’s so many different ways they could have approached this.

For example they could have mentioned that as a digital release they are allegedly dropping it’s price to $50 unlike Sony games which are $70! They could have also mentioned things like despite only being $50 it is one of the most graphically impressive games of the generation.

It’s legit reportable news and should be voiced critically towards MS, but IGN is gonna IGN and they’re always gonna use inflammatory language.

I just saw an interesting tweet RE Indy regarding the 1st / 3rd person argument, which essentially laid out that the last time we really saw a big film character from 1st person was James Bond in Goldeneye 64.

It’s pretty crazy considering how popular that game was.

Quantum of Solace was in first person, but the PS2 version was third person. Don’t ask me why I know that

I don’t recall,.but did nerds get their panties in a twist about that too? Gaming is fucking tiresome

I was just thinking that, I was wondering if I was going crazy or not .

I do remember at the the time them saying it was heavily influenced by Goldeneye 64 as a ā€˜spiritual successor’ so to speak.
