The Zune was great, but I donāt think they were as reliable as iPods were though. I remember the Zune store just being so cool and I loved how they handled artwork.
Itās a āQuantic Dreamā style game so I think it may release in a similar state, especially if the game arrives in a few years. However itās an NC Soft game so thereās a good chance itās a PS/PC exclusive.
This will never work lol
Zune was ahead of its timeā¦
Issue for Microsoft they were always too early or too late. Quality wise I felt Microsoft did great in those products mentioned, but they either didnāt have patience to stick it out or market was long gone.
From that list they made a big mistake dropping Groove, Smartphone, and possibly Mixer. I think if they stuck it out with those products they couldāve had gained some market share. I guess smartphone would be a hailmary because many were deadset on Apple and Android, but I still found lumia phones to be a best experience because it had a nice feel of android mixed with iOS
Not saying it will but itās not out of the realm of possibility. Hellblade 2 looks better than this graphically.
Hereās more gameplay and some commentary from the developers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qf89AtWGmxU
I agree, many of their products were actually really good, as you say it was likely timing. Ironically I think the Xbox One would have done better than it did but was put off by features which are becoming the norm today.
Thanks for sharing, it definitely looks interesting. As @OD62 said it definitely gives off those Quantic Dream type vibes, although I think the translation is off in this video as it just doesnāt make sense.
Yeah Iām sure it will , I think you just donāt expect it from a relatively unknown third party studio.
Everytime PokƩmon with guns is used to describe anything Palswolrd related my first thought is the original PokƩmon with guns: Digimon.
Also kind of like the comparison with Ark, even if Ark wasnāt a game I got into.
Digimon is sick, they should bring it back
I know they had made some movies starting the kids from the first series as teenagers recently. But Digimon never really disappeared, it just didnāt get as big a PokĆ©mon.
To think, this could have been a scam for Xbox. Itās crazy that this exist and so far, Iām hearing fun things about it.
Why scam? Quality control for Game Pass selection is very tight, they would never add an unplayable mess or a broken game.
Itās just we have been going through games scamming not just us but to the official as well. Abandoned was hyping up their āshowcaseā and the head of PS indie even hyped it up. Nvidia hyped up The Day Before when they showcase their graphic card power. Who to say Xbox wasnāt next. Not to mention, The Day Before just came and went last month, so the trust issue was lingering.
Xbox knows they would be destroyed. Also they barely hype their own games, I donāt see them doing it for obscure indies (they didnāt hype Palworld).
The Day Before is everything wrong in the industry in one product: unjustified hype, bold claims with nothing of substance attached, rehashing of popular trends (TLoU aestethic mixed with online survival mechanics), etcā¦personally I am ok it was a disaster, maybe it will be a lesson for others.
PalWorld was technically hyped by being showcased in their media event such as Showcase 2023. Thatās pretty much telling everyone to take a look when it releases.
