Got these for free on the side of the road on my walk this morning right as Starfield is about to release and I’ve been playing Fallout 4 heavily for the past week or two.
I’ve been reading the art book for a bit and it’s really good stuff, there’s a lot of writing in it that talks about the development for 4, they started development on the art and concepts in 2009 after releasing the final Fallout 3 DLC.
This is one of the coolest free things I’ve ever gotten, my luck today! I’ve wanted to own some fallout merch for a while and I feel like this is the perfect find. Feels like I own a Bethesda Game Studios museum when I read this book.
I wonder if this is where they have that Charles Martinet sendoff video. Although he isn’t actual voicing in Mario Wonder.
I’m still expecting a proper normal September Nintendo Direct as they’ve always done every year since Switch released, interesting that they are separating Mario from it, although nobody would want a 15 minute Mario segment in a normal Direct.
Gameplay doesn’t have to be the thing that allows me to compare them, Eastward has a fantastic art style, music, story and happens to be a 16bit like game from an indie developer. As for CrossCode I’ll try it out if it’s on game pass currently, if not once I need a small break from Starfield.
Just watched the trailer in the store and looks pretty fast paced, didn’t like the scoring system and rank on the battles shown, as I have never tried getting a high score or rank in any game that offers them on purpose. But will try to remember to give it a go after.
Nice to finally have this role fulfilled, and to say she is qualified is an understatement. Phil and his Japan trips have done a lot (and I’m sure will continue, it’s good for the man himself to have good relations with publishers there) but they definitely needed someone managing this full time.
That is odd, originally I thought you were linking to them not being listed for a physical presence which would be normal because they always just do the stream.
Are they maybe doing what Nintendo and Sony do and doing a Direct in September but not officially TGS labeled? They can still do what PS does and say “This is a Direct focused on 3rd party games from our Japanese partners”
I definitely remember seeing them on that list this year before though.
The only thing I can think of -if- that is the case is that they want more people to watch the stream. Being tied to TGS means they’re on their schedule. For me their TGS streams are always at like 5 or 6 AM so I never watched them live. Nintendo and PS “TGS” events are always at much more convenient times.
After two retries i finally reached the end of this stupid broken download list. The first thing i ever bought on the Xbox Store (Halo CE) is mine again!
Because i can! And because I have payed for it and still have space left on my HDD.
When the store closes next year there will be a lot of content lost forever.
