Yeah, it’s best to just keep our expectations for FF games neutral. I hope this stuff by this “insider” is bullshit though. It’s clearly going better between SE and MS with the latest Mana game coming to Xbox as well and I would hope Dragon Quest and KH continue to come as well.
Don’t know why Sony decided to go with the same date as Dragon’s Dogma 2. Granted, im sure release dates are setup months beforehand but I would think that Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo would at times give their third party publishing partner a call and be like “hey, when are you guys releasing (insert title here)”?
I can’t imagine that third party publishers wouldn’t tell the hardware manufacturers this info because I would think that they would prefer to release their game around less competition so they can sell better.
For me, im 50/50 on both games. I’m not really into the whole pawn system in Dragon’s Dogma 2 and would have preferred to be a lone protagonist instead of having a team while with Rise of the Ronin, I keep seeing people say that it’s a soulslike game which would result in self-elimination but if it’s like Tsushima, then im definitely in over Dragon’s Dogma 2.
CNN - Hasbro is slashing nearly 20% of its workforce amid an ongoing slump in toy sales. Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks announced layoffs for 1,100 workers in a Monday memo to employees, cuts which come in addition to the roughly 800 jobs eliminated earlier this year. Cocks said the decision to reduce Hasbro’s workforce was made in light of market headwinds proving to be “stronger and more persistent than planned.”
Fortnite and Roblox are killing the toys industry :v
Does anyone have any solid numbers or estimate of how many users are on the Microsoft/Xbox PC Store? Wondering how that impacts the size of their userbase in comparison to Nintendo/Playstation.
