Moon Studios game looks cool, it already feels like it plays so well just from the trailer. The title is a bit meh though, “No Rest for the Wicked” just doesn’t register for me.

Blue Protocol’s Japanese console release will be on the 13th. Amazon’s Western release is still an unknown 2024 date.
I still play this game but mainly just hop on to do dailies because it takes 5 mins.
I’ll download it on Xbox and check out how it runs and looks though, I hope I insta pop the 1000G with everything I did already lol.

Lovely to see the exciting elements bogged down in wailing about exclusivity or not etc. I swear ‘gamers’ just want to be miserable.

Basically the thing needs to stop pretending it is an Awards Show. It should just be Winter Games Fest and have a Winter Games Fest Game of the Year.
The dirty being done on the deves whose games are announced in asides rather than on stage just makes the whole industry look petty and silly. I get that Keighly gets so many eyes on the awards because of this, but having “Best RPG” get 30 seconds, whilst Kojima gets 10 minutes to talk about… something is just rank, frankly.
The categories need to be tidied up to - where are the technical achivement awards? Things like that?

I honestly don’t care at all about exclusivity as long as stuff is available on Xbox, but what if they don’t show the logo because it will also be available on Xbox devices that haven’t been announced yet? Just a thought.

Man… This absolute wallowing in negativity is so draining.
I went to bed last night pretty chuffed about all the positive Xbox news, only to wake up to all this nonsense.
Why people feel this need to rain on parades with every little chance they get is just astonishing to me. Why not choose positivity? Isn’t it draining for you too to be so negative all the time?
I will never understand half-empty kinds of people.
Anyway… As far as I’m concerned this year’s TGA was the perfect cap to the amazing gaming year that’s been 2023. From the mindblowing shadowdrop of Hifi Rush, to awesome little indie games like Planet of Lana, to the launch of what’s become my favourite game of all time: Starfield. And now this!
A Game Awards that was basically an Xbox showcase, with Xbox taking the most awards of any platform holder, with Xbox logos appearing on the VAST majority of third-party games, with a peek at an Xbox-exclusive Kojima game, and a fantastic-looking Hellblade trailer, AND an announcement of a Marvel game being made by Arkane… 
Absolutely love being an Xbox gamer right now. Cannot wait for 2024 and beyond.

I agree with your general sentiment, and despise the doomerism and hyperbole that seems to infect a large part of the Xbox community.
I’m not against people vocalizing criticism about aspects of Xbox they are unsure about though. A part of the Xbox community had been stressing about the prospect of Xbox going fully third party for weeks now and there being no exclusivity announcement or Xbox logo’s shown on the first party Blade announcement is a manifestation of those fears however unreasonable they might be.
I personally would have liked them showing their logo on the announcement, since it was easily the biggest announcement last night, but I’m not going to worry about it.

Looking at MH Wilds and I’m going to assume they changed the artstyle to work around the size and scope along with having multiple monsters on screen.

I’m a little disappointed with the next game from MOON Studio it looks great but I like the artistic direction less than Ori I found it less vibrant and the animations don’t seem as fluid to me it’s still a very nice game and I can’t wait to play it because it’s my shit but I expect better after so much waiting what did you think?

it wouldn’t have bothered me the game remains superb perhaps I had too high expectations the 2 Ori remain among my favorite games so obviously I had high expectations perhaps Private Division does not have the budget that Microsoft puts into Ori

I mean more because of the toxic workplace stuff and Moon just being not great to work with. The game looks fine but nowhere near as exciting as Ori was.
