Fr, I’m really worried for Rocksteady if it performs as badly as it’s been received so far, spending 8 years and 100s of millions for a big underperformer is going to lead to big layoffs if not even worse considering the state of the industry right now

This was the experience I had from the Halo devs (ex and current) I spoke about in 2021 on the YHMAH podcast and here… funny how many actual devs contradict this individual’s reporting. Also, mark it as another example where I had Sam from WC backing me up and there were plenty here and on the pod that came at me as a “defender”. No, I just see the situation as reported to me by people with far less slant than the aforementioned… and much of the media.

Been thinking a little about Xbox consoles and GTA 6. We all expect Sony to have paid the money required to Take Two to market the game, but what if it’s Xbox? They have plenty of money to spend, they may not have done so for RDR2 and neither GTA 5 but it was a much different Xbox back then.
If they were to market it and thus be able to sell bundles of XSX/XSS with the game…surely that would get a lot more people to grab an Xbox?
Or not, dunno. But it’s not impossible.

While I agree, Id put money on sony getting marketing and maybe some special quests now etx. Infact now that ABK is closed I expect sony to money hat a lot more
Yeah I hate that exclusive content shit. Hopefully it won’t be anything meaningful. I don’t recall that they had much special content for RDR2, hope its like that again. Even though there’s a big chance I might actually get it for PS5. If that Pro is real.

I like how I can just turn off most markers and shit in Odyssey, don’t know how it is in Valhalla. Options is best.

Days Gone. I know it’s just a good 70 or so rated game but for me, it was my dream zombie game come true and then you add in the Sons of Anarchy feel. Oh man!!! I was shocked and hyped especially since I didn’t expect Sony to have any other zombie type game since they have TLOU.
Before Days Gone, it was Mad Max from WB and Avalanche Studios which I believed was shown during Sony’s E3 2013 or E3 2014 showcase.
Valhalla’s map was smaller than Odyssey ?? Wow.

I’m loving it too. In the middle of my playthrough, paused it before Starfield after finishing the main quest. Now I have all the DLC left, and some side quests etc.
Also, Kassandra is so damn good!
