Nah, Disney already owns 66% and the structure of the company had this at the basis of it from the very start. This is Comcast [NBCUniversal] exiting so they get a big payoff and they will focus on their own streaming platforms.

Weird. I donāt think the Xbox achievements have hit yet though. Itās possible that the achievements will also be an add-on for the MW2 list right?
Just randomly checked Gematsu and saw this! This is one of my favorite games of last year! Also Cygamesā first Xbox release! I wonder if MS is in talks to get the Granblue games at some point?

I was playing Halo and glimpse at this. Didnāt know the detail so thank you. Interesting. It could be timing, but since Sarah Bond is the president, I can imagine even bigger push for Japanese games.
Mena Sato is also now over there handling relationships full time. Maybe this is the first fruit of that now that sheās been hired for a couple months.

I think this is the minimum they will pay. The deal signed in 2019 has an independent appraisal cluase so if itās valued higher they will pay that amount. This is going to hurt Disney, who have actively looked at offloading Hulu but there just doesnāt seem to be any buyers

They saw the writing on the wall tbh, this happened in 2020 when there was a lot of hype around Xbox. There were new Xbox only podcasts propping up from media companies, because they knew they had to try and cover Xbox, but after 2021/22 they sort of fell back into their grove and comfortable spot of shitting on Xbox.
They know they canāt really do that now Xbox owns ABK and aināt going anywhere, they will follow the money so donāt be shocked if Xbox starts to claw back some marketshare the feelings start to shift.

This should be part of the latest third party showcase. I donāt care if itās an older game, but itās sitting on a high review score and itās always good to promote japanese games on Xbox.
The game is very similar to Dead Cells, but not that hard.
